Here is another question to work on. What player is given credit for scoring the very 1st goal in the NHL? Although there is a dispute with another player. Can you name him also?

Dave Ritchie scored the first NHL,and Harry Hyland scored four in the same game....there was another game, but it was played AFTER the first one,on the same day......

Hod's game was an all-star game before the NHL, and so was the game I am looking for..it is NOT an all-star game, and it happened BEFORE the NHL's first game....

Dave Ritchie is right, but the other player is wrong. According to WIKI Alf......Some people aren't sure if Joe Malone wasn't the 1st one in another game that came 6 minutes into that game. So there is actually a bit of a dispute, but Ritchie is the one being credited ahead of Malone's goal.

Can anybody name the 8 pre Original 6 teams? Hint: 4 played only one season and 4 played more than one season. Which is why the Original 6 is NOT really the Original 6!

How bout some kind of clue on that name change Alfer?

It means even though I like you, despite you questioning my sexuality, that you are as nutty as he is. %)

Montreal Maroons, New york Americans, Seattle metropolitans, philadelphia quakers, ottawa senators, pittsuburgh pirates, and quebec bulldogs.

Who scored the last nhl goal?

  8. igloofn68 Guest

    Damien Brunner, right?

  9. igloofn68 Guest

There is still..... the 1st player to play 20 seasons in the NHL also.

    Playoffs don't count.

how about Dit Clapper? i think he racked up a bunch of All-Star appearances too.

Very good Fire! That is correct. Now back to your non-playoff question. I'm going to say Justin Williams of the L.A. Kings as the Kings and Sharks battled it out for a better seed in the last game. There were 4 games on the last regular season day. Those were the only 2 California teams playing. So if they played at night? That would be the last game of the season.....

I got the right image somehow but the tag is still hangin in there, hmmmmm.......

  17. igloo: the proper format is like this -

    (img)some picture URL(/img) - but with [ and ] instead of ( and ).

the easier way to do it is to highlight the link in your post and then click the image button up above the text entry box, between the URL button and the color button. that will add the tags for u.

ps: i don't think that's a valid link in your post tho :/

  18. alf, don't worry about sol. he probably thinks u think he's gay, when we both know it applies across the board to all pens fans, not just him O:)

Thanks Lulz! I'll give that a shot next time. In the meantime........I found this question looking for alf's answer, too which I'm still working on. Who was the first son of an NHL player to play in the NHL? I also think they were in the NHL at the same time for awhile?!?!
