how bout u copy and paste where i said all the credit goes to his teammates. oh wait, u can't do that, because i never said anything of the sort.

u don't think any of those numbers have anything to do with the team?---lulz

is that close enough? hahahahaha im done with this debate.

who is gentleman george? curious george? haha

igloo--i got more baseball for you...lulz...i got a boot in the ass for you...

so prince hal newhouser is the first pitcher to win back to back mvps in baseball, but he wasn't the first pitcher to win 2 mvp awards in his career. name that pitcher??

  7. no, it's not even remotely close to saying his teammates get all the credit. they get a little. the difference between wayne and mario's PPG is very small. claiming what i said gives all the credit to his teammates is... not even in the ballpark. it's not on the same planet.

    The Cardinals...1942

Walter Johnson was the 1st win 2 awards but I don't think it was called the MVP and voted on by the BWA...1931 was the 1st year the MVP was voted on by the Baseball Writers Association and the 1st winner was Carl Hubbell..

    Alf, George who???

  13. Catfish Guest

igloo--it's hubbell as it was the MVP Award. He won 2 MVPs within a 4 yr span!

it was 1931 but the first winners in each league were frankie frisch and lefty grove, not hubbell. he won in 33 and 36.
