merrill hoge can't tie a tie. ever notice how big the knots were in his ties? he looks ridiculous. i went to catholic school for 12 yrs and never seen a tie like that.

Same here. If there's one thing I can do it's tie a tie...and run from crazed, violence-prone nuns.

Never noticed Fish. Maybe because I never wear one. I just said Hoge because he was a Steeler and sticks up for them on the show. Actually, he kind of acts over-confident, which I'm not crazy about. *DONT_KNOW*

Your right Lulz. It used to be a good show many moons ago. The good ones always leave now or are fired. And I don't consider poker or playing video games a sport. They are really hard up sometimes for something to talk about. One of the worst things is they don't talk about the NHL because they lost the contract. They think their high and mighty but their far from it. *BYE*

igloo--the next time he's on - notice. the knot is massive like a bad 70's clothes and knot. tie knots are supposd to be tight not bigger than a small fist. he looks like an ass.

and he thinks he was a great player. he wasn't. he's 2 levels below bayless and steven a on the tool bag list.

2 things on espn - they always love certain teams or cities and constantly blow ny, la and boston!

and years ago they had a contest to college kids to see who wanted to be a new ESPN anchor. The real hiring manager was there. so the kid who won who i see doing college games now starting using the jive or jargon as part of his taped broadcastm that stuart scott used and others. like "cooler than the other side of the pillow," etc. the manager said "we don't use language like that here." i almost fell out of my chair! what? that's all they use pal! scott and others perfected it.

    joke.

and once that tell all book came out about espn in the 80's and 90's about the sex parties and drugs they were all doing and backgrounds about many of them and how berman and olbermann are complete jerkoffs turned me off to the entire network.

  7. Catfish Guest

oh and they charge you now to read their articles on espn.com that used to be for free! asses!

  8. i don't know jack about olberman, but i don't need an insider article to tell me chris berman is an asshole - i figured that one out all by myself ;)

good one lulz. olbermann, athough i love his new show is very high on his own horse. i heard he was a real jerk to new hirees at espn in the 80s and 90s.

berman is so full of himself it's sickening.

ok enough espn - name the player who has played on the MOST world series winners and name them ?

I'll take a guess and say Harold Baines? Is there another player thats tied with him? Gehrig maybe?

  11. Catfish Guest

damn it. i missed a key word igloo--name the player who played on the most seperate world series winning teams - not the same franchise. did harold baines ever win a single ws?

  12. igloofn68 Guest

I think he won some with different teams? Not positive, but I thought I heard that a few years back. I'll look it up and see......

  13. Catfish Guest

i don't think he won any and he's not the answer. this guy won 3 rings early within a 5 yr span. and then won at the tailend of his career.

  14. igloofn68 Guest

Jack Morris has 4 rings with 3 teams. (Tigers, Twins and Blue Jays [x2])
Herb Pennock has 7 rings with 3 teams (As, Red Sox [x 2] and Yankees [x4]).
Lonnie Smith has 3 rings with 3 team (Phillies, Cardinals, Braves). He also appeared in a losing effort with the Braves in 1991 and 1992.

  15. Catfish Guest

smith also won one with kc in 85. so he is the answer as it's all single teams - no doubles.

im mad the flyers lost igloo, so im done posting for awhile.

Well, I get disinterested also when the Pens get knocked out. But there are other subjects here like baseball (Pirates stink!) trivia, the hockey trivia and I see your the captain of the Eagles here. So there are other things besides the NHL playoffs. The draft is this weekend? Or next? I could look it up......I do a lot of posting in the Steelers Forum about different subjects. Mostly about the draft and who will fall to them, who will be there when the Steelers pick and what they need, etc.........

  17. AxeMurderer Legend Cowboys

NFL Draft is Thursday night (Round 1), Friday night (Rounds 2-3), and Saturday (Rounds 4-7).
