I feel for ya Axe, haha......I think if I walked into a Philly venue with a Pittsburgh shirt at any venue I would definately carry a gun!

    Miguel Cabrera and Josh Hamilton?

  3. Catfish Guest

nice work igloo on my question.

answer - alex rodriguez and jim thome?

hamilton was still in the minors in 2000?

Cabrera is #2 on the list. No Josh Hamilton, Rodriguez or Thome......Although all good guesses.....Mike & Mike couldn't get it, except for Cabrera. So we have #2 and #3. We need #1 which is the hardest and you won't believe who it is........

  5. with all due respect, fuck mike, and fuck mike too :)

Yeah Lulz, I agree. But not much else is on when it's raining outside. All they do is talk about the NBA. Now all they are doing is talking about the owner of one of the teams and his racial remarks. Like he's the only racist in the world. And how the blacks put all their sweat and tears into making him rich. Nevermind how much the all of the players are making! I guess to sum it all up, there are no black racists in the NBA playing. They are lucky to get food on the table, right?

Somebody needs to grow up and live in the real world! There are white and black racists on both sides. So who really gives a crap when we already know this?

Atlee Hammaker...! I remember that name -- I actually dated his niece once.

  9. AxeMurderer Legend Cowboys

I do, actually. I know there's racism on both sides of the table, but that doesn't excuse it.

    Cabrera and Bautista?

  11. igloofn68 Guest

Bautista is CORRECT, Will! How did you get that? Nice work!

The Pirates gave him about 3 years to hit MLB pitching, which he never did for them. The soon as they traded him to Toronto, B_A_M! He's a top HR hitter.......

Not saying it does Axe. I just don't think ESPN has to talk about it all day because everybody knows it. And you know Stephan A. Smith just waits for comments like that. Personally, I think he's an A-hole. Doesn't matter whether he's white or black, he's still an a$$hole! Of course, so is Skip Bayless!!!

ESPN will talk about this for a week. They think it's interesting. But has nothing to do with sports! *KISSING*

bautista? did he play in 2000? i would like to see the list and see where thome and arod are on it as they played then and were stars. even griffey too.

  15. i think it would be simpler to list the people on ESPN who aren't.

  16. igloofn68 Guest

Don't know Fish, ask Will where he got it......Now I said around 2000, I'm not sure what year they mentioned.

Sterling just got banned from the NBA and fined $2.5 MIL. and has to sell the Clippers....I hope he doesn't appeal this and drag it out. ESPN will talk about forever. :|

Good point Lulz! It's actually hard to think of one who isn't. I like Jay Bilas on college basketball and Merrill Hoge because he's always rooting for the Steelers. Maybe Jon Gruden on the NFL. It's a hard question... :-* Even the people that work there leave or are fired all of the time!

Well, let's face it: it's a pretty damn big story. There's no football going on, baseball season just started, and we're in the very early stages of basketball and hockey playoffs.

Dude just got a life-time ban. Pretty significant.

Lulz is right - might be easier to find a non-a*hole on BSPN.

That said, Screamin' A. Smith is among the WORST. Just unlistenable.

  19. the sad part, to me, is that they started out great. sportscenter was like the best tv show EVAR - in the beginning.

now, the whole thing has become a circus without the calliope.

ps: poker is not a sport.

but the other day, i heard something that might make watching people play cards seem sane. there's a website that streams video of people playing video games, and it's a pay service. some of the more popluar players they stream are making $20k a month.

*CRAZY* *CRAZY* *CRAZY* *CRAZY* *CRAZY* *CRAZY*

I honestly took a guess on Bautista. I was just trying to think of a consistent HR hitter during that time frame. I was mulling over guy's like Jay Bruce, Braun, Howard. When Bautista entered my mind, the ol' light bulb went off, so I just threw it out there to see if it stuck. I would have said Dunn, but you initially ruled him out.
