  5. Underdog Franchise Player Patriots

    Gum was close. It's licorice.

  6. Catfish Guest

what does licorice have to do with doctoring a baseball?

  7. Underdog Franchise Player Patriots

Same thing as tobacco juice or vaseline or any other slimy substance you could put on there.

  8. Catfish Guest

HOF'er Bert Blyleven was traded in the midst of an All-Star season in 1985 from Cleveland back to his original team, Minnesota. What future All-Star infielder was included in the package the Twins sent to the Indians?

  10. Willie Head Coach Manager News & Notes Vikings

    Omar Viscal?

  11. Catfish Guest

  13. Catfish Guest

i recall in 1988 a 8 or 9 player deal with tony fernandez and maybe joe carter or something like that.

in 1917 the Chicago White Sox won the WS over NY. How many of the infamous black sox players were on the 1917 team?

  15. Underdog Franchise Player Patriots

  16. Catfish Guest

actually yes, all 8 were on the '17 team. try to see if i could fool someone.

  17. igloofn68 Guest

Retired numbers are pretty common these days, but they had to start somewhere. Whose number was the first ever retired by a MLB team?

  18. Catfish Guest

    # 4 Gehrig

  19. igloofn68 Guest

    Correct, your at the plate!

  20. Catfish Guest

Gehrig was also the first person to have waived the 5 yr exemption for the HOF too. Second was Clemente...

this is an oldie but a goodie...name the Orioles third basemen to play 3B when Ripken ended the streak ? He was also drafted in the NBA by Philly.
