Pretty sure Tony Gwynn is one of the batting title guys, so that would rule out my first HR guess of Ralph Kiner if only one of them was OF.

How about Rogers Hornsby for BA and Mike Schmidt for HR?

 

Correct with Schmidt (8 seasons) on HRs with the Babe who had 11......Tony Gwynn is also correct for BA in 8 seasons. I thought of Hornsby also but he's not one.....Need 1 more infielder with 8 seasons of batting over .300 ?

 

I was looking up Hornsby's BA stats and he has over 8 seasons of hitting over .300 but doesn't have the 8 Batting Titles which is the question.......So we need that last player to answer.....

winning the batting title is not hitting over .300. it's having the highest average. which doesn't have to be .300.

im shocked wade boggs or rod carew wasn't the answer.

 

I know Fish. I screwed up......It should be Batting Titles, which is why I pointed it out in another post, my bad.......As far as Ruth goes, he leads no matter if it's 11 or 12, Schmidt is 2nd with 8.....
