Wait... So the established fact that you're always wrong doesn't carry over from CBS? Pity. #wasteofmytime
Crex, I honestly don't have a problem taking a pass rusher at #6. I think we have too many unknowns in the front seven and talented attack guys are tough to come by. I just personally prefer a playmaker. The F/O is using the "Group Think" method, but at the end of the day, someone will make the call. That pick should/will reflect the one making it. Joe Banner - rush linebacker with size (Ansah, Jordan) Ray Horton - rush linebacker with speed (Jones, Mingo) Rob Chudzinski - offensive lineman, quarterback, offensive playmaker Jimmy Haslam - offensive playmaker I truly believe cornerback is out of play.
Honestly though, how do we know they aren't Top 10 talents? There just hasn't been the exposure. Put on game film of Patterson or Austin. I'm really starting to like these two guys. Either one could be deserving of Top 10 status, I feel. And if we keep coming back to, "well... this class isn't very impressive", then perceived slotting doesn't matter. You take the best weapon for your team.
You forgot Mike Lombardi? selection (video]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDwbjHV8jLo[/video) I don't think that CB is out of play @#6 The Browns still need a few. However, I think OLB/ILB is the most pressing need on defense after CB
Wouldn't it be cool though, if it was 4th and forever from beyond the 50, everyone is in punt formation, and he drop kicks a 60+yarder
