Giants lose 12-1 behind Zito. Start a 4 game set with the Pirates tomorrow. Cain on the bump with his 8-8 record and 4.35 ERA.

 

Giants on tonite against the Bucs. Both teams are going in different directions this year. Cain on the bump.

 

MadBum on the bump tonite against the Buccos. They are 4-6 in their last 10. Think I'm gonna drink heavily so I will be able to watch them. Damn it's torture?...

 

Its not easy sometimes. I followed an entire season of Tigers baseball not to long ago, where they only won about 47 or 48 ball games. Very brutal. Im glad those days are gone. Hopefuly, never to return.

 

Kinda got spoiled the last few years with the 2 titles. The motto has always been torture but this is well beyond that.

 

I need to drink more.

Well the Giants pull it out with a 6-3 win. Lincecum gets the win and The Serg gets the save. Tomorrow they close out the series with Vogalsong on the hill.

 

Giants take the finale against the Pirates. Vogie throws 8 innings of shutout ball. Colorado comes to town tomorrow and Zito is on the bump. Oh no!

Yusmiero Petit on the mound tonite in place of the injured Cain. Hope the offense shows up.
