I'm not surprised, and it's about to change dramatically. Kind of interesting that the Ravens get Seattle this week, then a bye, and then New England....Sounds familiar.
Bottom six: Baltimore - 0.286 San Francisco - 0.300 New England - 0.303 Buffalo - 0.379 Seattle - 0.389 Dallas - 0.394 Top six: Tampa - 0.657 Los Angeles (Rams) - 0.657 Cincinnati - 0.647 Pittsburgh - 0.629 New York (Jets) - 0.621 Cleveland - 0.588
Remember a couple years ago when the Browns were 0-6? In an article I wrote, I added up their opponents W/L records and stated that the Browns had played the hardest schedule in the NFL. I was reminded (in suppository form) that 6 of those opponent's wins were due to playing the Browns. Ever since then, whenever I calculate a team's opponent W/L record, I only use their opponents record in games not involving that team. Using this method, through 5 weeks (I haven't yet entered week 6); The top 6 Saints - 0.700 Buccaneers - 0.684 Chiefs- 0.658 Rams - 0.650 Steelers - 0.632 Jets - 0.625 The bottom 6 Patriots - 0.278 Eagles - 0.306 49ers - 0.313 Ravens - 0.342 Chargers - 0.361 Cowboys and Bills - 0.421
