Country music star Loretta Lynn has died.

The coal miner's daughter turned country music icon was 90 years old.

"Our precious mom, Loretta Lynn, passed away peacefully this morning, October 4th, in her sleep at home in her beloved ranch in Hurricane Mills," the family said in a statement shared with Fox News Digital. They asked for privacy as they grieve and said a memorial will be announced later.

I remember watching that Oscars "Live" and was puzzled why Brando never accepted the award.

It was very controversial and angered several celebrities'

But it was Brilliant what she did and said.....It opened the door for many Native Indian actors and 50 years later Hollywood send her an apology.

One of them is Graham Greene....."Dances with Wolves"
