That’s a good one @gidion72. Who can hate a song with two separate guitar solos? I’m kind of partial to Brothers in Arms myself. For me it’s probably one of the best “last song on an album” songs.

Duff.......I was so glad I got to see Jimmy perform "Live" in Ottawa in 1975.

And on the way home to Wakefield Que. we stopped for a Cheeseburger in Paradise....lol

FYI before he became a Musician he was a High School Teacher in Florida and taught English.

I'm sure that is why he was a good songwriter....

And you are correct he has an EMPIRE that is worth Billions.....HOTELS

Good story @Vancouver Volcanos. My folks loved his music from the get-go. I grew up listening to it. My folks took me to my first Buffet concert in 1980 when I was 10. Lawn seats with a blanket, picnic basket, a couple of pink flamingos yard ornaments and a beach ball. I was hoping to see him one more time next summer but it wasn’t meant to be. Always put on a great show with a good crowd. I raise my margarita to you Jimmy. Now where’s my shaker of salt?

I was at a trade show in New Orleans in the late 90’s and a co-worker and I dipped into the Margaritaville there and Jimmy rolls in unannounced and just rips a 2 hour set for the hell of it. RIP.
