Going for 2.... barely got it, but i can see why, you would still be only down 8 if you didnt get it. now a TD will win it.
Again, this was an interesting coaching call. Going for 2 means if by some miracle the defense wakes up, the Ravens can win the game with a TD and extra point. Worst case scenario was they'd need a TD and 2 point to tie. Again though, with the penalty, it's a no brainier. 1 yard for 2 points.
I don't like the 2 point attempt but John said he's not playing for any ties this year, so it makes sense
Chubb is gonna win my fantasy game this week by himself.... 39 points heh Not the way i wanted to get a good lead in fantasy though, (i figured the Ravens D would get torched thru the air, but damn even the rush defense has went to sleep)
Well that play summarizes today. Don't deserve to win when you play this poorly especially at home. The players should be embarrassed with the product on the field today. We will see who has the character to rebound next week.
wow, going for it 4th and 3 deep in our own end? John Harbaugh trying to get fired? I am beginning to wonder.....
turning off the stream, done watching this catastrophe in progress..... The Browns were the better team today.... at least the Steelers suck
With how the defense played today, you absolutely have to go for it on 4th down. No matter what (unless they score another TD), you still need 2 TDs anyway. You have to maximize every possession and can't put the defense back on the field.
The Browns just said We own you...... and bleh they did. The Ravens D should be running gassers the whole damn week with that atrocious performance today
I'm struggling to think of a worse defensive effort to start the season than what I've seen after 4 weeks so far. Back to back 500 yard allowed games by the Ravens. Wow
Tim Williams was cut today, but I don't really know what their plans are with the D. Williams was having no positive impact on the defense as he wasn't sacking the QB or setting the edge. This feels more like a "message", but the person who needs to see the message is Bowser. Regardless, if your plan is still to trot out Jefferson as a starter each week, then you're going to continue giving up huge plays against the run and pass. Who do the Ravens use to fill the spot? With the huge weakness of not being able to generate any sacks with the DL, it makes that questionable release of Willie Henry open to even more scrutiny.
