Ravens @ Chargers, Week 16 Gameday Thread

So as of now, the Steelers are threatening to take the lead right before the 4th. The Titans and Colts won. The big problem is the Texans lost.

Pending the Steelers win out, we could beat the Browns next week and still miss the playoffs if the Texans lose to the Jags and the, I think, Colts beat the Titans. The Texans would tell into the wildcard tiebreaker and they apparently beat us on tiebreakers.

Gotta beat the Browns next week, if they lose, they are totally dependent on the Bengals to win to get a spot, if the Bengals lose, the Ravens are out and that is only if the Saints win.

If the Steelers win, but lose to the Bengals next week, they are in. If the Steelers win and the Texans win, they are still in but your right, if the Texans lose, that opens up the Colts to win the AFC South and the Texans common opponents with us knock us out as they have a better record against the common opponents

 

That's not correct. If the Steelers lose today, we still need to win next week. If they win now and we win next week they still have to beat Cincy also

 

If the Saints win today, the Ravens can lose next week and if the Bengals were to win, the ravens would still win the division. This is the only way to get into the playoffs if they lose next week.

Ok yeah, maybe I read the previous one wrong. The Steelers have to lose out for us to be able to lose next weekend. I just want them to lose today.

Merry Christmas, Ravens fans. From 4-5, starting a rookie QB in a new offensive scheme, to division lead with one week to go.

Sucks that if we had beaten the Browns, or Chiefs, we'd have locked up the division and be fighting for a bye week

 

Ended up with a crazy fumble. Just gotta beat the Browns next week to get in. The Ravens are no longer in the running for the 6 seed. We are totally dependent on next week Browns game. Win and we are the Division Champs, Lose and the Steelers win, they win and we are out.

The Colts winning and the Titans winning and the Texans losing, completely took us out of any other chance to get in.

 

Y'all still need to win next week.

I am not taking the Browns lightly, they are dangerous, its gonna be a hell of a game. What #1 is saying is that we should have won that OT game in Cleveland, or not missed that PAT against those Saints, etc. Thats all hindsight though, Win and we are in, lose and we have to hope the Bengals pull off a miracle, its that simple.

 

You are 100% right, but this is still a good place. We went from needing a win and still having to hope the Steelers lost or Texans won, to just needing a win. That's a huge difference in

 

The Bengals won't win next week. Stick a fork in them.

 

I totally agree, hence we cannot afford to let Mayfield and Chubb and Landry to go off on us

If I was a betting man, I'd agree with you though. Steelers likely crush them

 

Nothing personal to the Browns, but after facing Atlanta in Atlanta, KC in KC, and LA in LA, I have some faith in our defense at home against Cleveland.

I won't lie though, the game makes me nervous

Where's your faith in Marvin Lewis combined with Hue Jackson? It takes the two of them 2 1/2 hours to watch "60 Minutes".
