Apparently Michael Campanaro is on IR again.

Jaleel Scott with the "we've never cut a 4th rd draft pick" undisclosed injury. He's on the IR.

  3. Was coming here to post just that! watched him a several training camps this year. He can be a play maker, but there is a log jam of talent.

Question: Can he be re-assigned to IRDR later? My thinking is that if we have WR injury down the line can he be utilized if they're allowed to change his status?

I was under the impression you had to place on IR in the regular season to get the return designation. Anyone IR'd ind preseason is out for the year. If I wrong, someone let me know

All I see is that a players needs to be on the 53 man roster at the start of the season.

Which means that if he was placed on IR before the 53 man roster cutdown, he was placed on IR during the pre-season ???

If you are on IR you can’t be placed on the 53, you have to be on the 53 to be on IR designated to return, so when IRed during preseason you are done for the season.

Correa to the Titans for an undisclosed draft choice.

I hope this one doesn't come back to bite them in the ass. Correa was finally looking comfortable. He's going to the DC that stunted his development in the first place.

agreed and it looks like the report is we are getting a 6th round choice back.

I understand we were likely going to cut him without comp, but what trash is that when we invest a 2nd rounder in him and get no production over 3 seasons and then take a 6th back.

I would also add Kaufusi to that mix for that same draft and say what a complete bust of a couple of draft picks where we get nothing from our 2nd and 3rd rounders and will likely have cut them both before their rookie deals are up. SA-Wing and a miss!!!!

How epic could that draft have been if we had hit on the 2nd and 3rd rounders? It already gave us Stanley, T Young, C Moore, Alex Lewis, W Henry, Ken Dixon, Judon, and Canady.

Oh wow!! If I'm Correa, I'm crying about having to play under Pees.

I'd say it's actually pretty impressive to get a 6th round pick for a player that has done nothing in the league except get beaten out every time he was up for a starting gig.

That is actually a great point.

Also if you think about it, he had the Hall of Fame game, but after that, did he have a game where he came close to that production? I very well could be 100% wrong, but the HoF game might be his 1 hit wonder and we never see him peak again

I look at it like this. Correa, a former 2nd rounder, just gave up his roster spot to Stanley Jean-Baptist, also a former second rounder. Hopefully SJB can co tribute more to the team than Correa has in his time here.

Sucks for Correa to go back to Peas though

  15. I'm on the fence. One year as an ILB which wasn't his natural position. One preseason at OLB where he was somewhat productive. I know we're loaded at linebacker, but the attrition rate can be high and they got just a 6th rounder for a developing player who was a 2nd rounder a year ago. He might have been more valuable to us in reserve duty. Then again, maybe it ends up being the move for the defense.

If he lost his spot due to Baptist it really shows us that they're taking the 4 game loss of Jimmy more seriously than just a pure depth issue.

Also, want to talk about the doghouse? Senat is in the doghouse for sure and deservedly for posting pics of him injured on Instagram.

Who are the "surprises" not making your 53 man roster? For me, I'm saying RG3, Perriman, Kafusi, and McClellan.

I'm not personally high on SJB either compared to everyone's current lovefest, but with Jimmy down, I could see him making it.

I don't know between Grant and White. If it's for the return job, then I think Grant just gives you more juice.

Rg3 won't really be a surprise for me if he's cut or kept. Sadly, neither will Perriman. Even though it's not the same competition, he's been the best preseason WR, catching 8 of the 11 passes thrown his way for over 100 yards (only WR over 100 I think) and a TD.

That said, Lasley will be a surprise for me. Not because he's been great, but because the Ravens love athleticism over everything. Correa was already a big shock. Kaufusi being cut will surprise me and Eluemenor making the team will surprise me also

  19. I agree will all of this.

In my mind, I just cannot see them keeping Perriman over Lasley. I know Perriman is their first rounder, but they see what they have in him - nothing. Lasley is a later round pick, but he is on his rookie deal, and they have years to groom him (which they won't do well) plus his ability to do some special teams work.
