I'm just catching up on the Arizona film now, having missed the game. It is some of the most embarrassing football I've ever seen played. And I've seen a LOT of bad football. I mean, very genuinely, some of the worst stuff I've ever seen. It's embarrassing. Georgie needs to get his pacifier out of his mouth and let someone competent take charge of this organization, because the Poles / Eberflus combo was very clearly going to fail coming into the season, is failing at present, and will continue to fail until they hire competent replacements. Unfortunately, you could exchange the fucking names for multiple GM's and coaches before them, and the sentence would be the same.

We just don't watch Bears football in my house, anymore. I watch film afterwards and I spare my family. An unserious organization. What a fucking joke.

Heh, there is no other choice. The Blackhawks have fallen to #2 in my hockey fandom (sorry gents), but only because my son has gotten into hockey big time and it aligns with the Kraken and everything. I was never a huge hockey fan before him, so it's Kraken then 'Hawks. I didn't get a chance to go to Hawks/Kraken on Thurs, but I did go see them demolish CBJ so that was fun. Bedard is good but man the 'Hawks need some help.

I've tried to make the Seahawks a second football team, but it's just not possible, even without Carroll now I just can't care. My fate is completely tied to the damn Bears.

Bagent's dad is a fucking meathead. Im absolutely on board with telling that knuckle-dragger if he pipes up like this again he'll be costing his son's job.

Even tho he still needs a major attitude adjustment on the field, gotta say im damn pleased to hear this crap didnt come from DJ.

That's for Eberflus and the whole "well they could have fumbled" crowd.

    Fuck off.

The odds of Cairo missing a 45+ yard are 24%. It's less than 1% that Roschon fumbles on that drive if we kept working him. HC can't realize the obvious.

    I will say this...

Caleb Williams has balls and can be a big game QB. He can be a 4th quarter killer QB. He's already shown that.

Get the right coach....and we have a conversation on our hands of possibly turning the fucking corner.

Eberfuckface has 6 losses in his career where analytics say the team had a 95% chance or better to win in the 4th quarter.

Is there any chance that Poles pays for this mess, too? Like, is there even a possibility that he's held accountable and fired for this shitshow, as well? Well, fuck, that's assuming that Eberlose is fired at the end of this season, and even that I can't say with 100% confidence, because Georgie might not want to pay him to sit on the couch for the year.

It is crazy how utterly you can fail at your job and still get to do it, year after year, without any accountability. Must be nice, eh, Georgie boy? Nepotism is a hell of a thing.

That would require Kevin Warren steping up and going to the McCasfucks and saying a change is needed.

One, not even sure he has that power.

Two, not sure he's that smart.

Three, pretty certain the McCaskcunts think Poles is a nice guy and want to keep him around.

I think Poles hands are tied when it comes to the HC. Georgie pretends like he's not involved but we all know the truth.

I have no idea Kevin Warren's role, other than to get a new stadium for the old hag.

My prediction is Eburlose is canned and Poles stays and hires a pre-selected nice guy handed to him by Georgie.

I think all of the above is correct. Kevin Warren is just there to handle the new stadium / finances, Poles and Eberlose were just Georgie picks because they offered to pick up the check at dinner, and we're going to MAYBE see a new head coach and almost certainly not a new GM.

Good teams find a way to win. Bad teams find a way to lose. The Bears are the latter and it is 100% a reflection of the head coach.

Buckle up, because it doesn't get any easier from here on out. The Vikings and Lions are better. The Seahawks and 49ers are no pushover. I contend they still win possibly 2 games, but there will probably be at least 1 blowout loss if not more. I would say the Vikings are ripe for a loss to the Bears next week, but given how mentally weak this team is, I fully expect them to shit the bed like they did post Washington.

No chance. They will look at the good moves he's made and give him a second chance to pick a HC. I am 100% that Flus is fired at the end of the year. Short of running the table, it's been an embarrassment. You can say "oh it's a fluke the FG was blocked, a fluke they made the hail mary", etc, etc, but when it keeps happening, it's not "luck" anymore. And even if it fucking WERE, they FIRE the UNLUCKY bastard! Given they canned the OC, they have no choice at the end of the year but to can Flus after they finish 7-10 in a season that was supposed to show progress.

Lets remember, while the offense did not deliver, HC decisions cost us that game, and the defense as well. There's no scapegoat for him to hide behind, the DC is gone too. He can't hire people, terrible clock management, bad crunch time decisions.

I'm not sure how involved George is, but the rumors about ownership not wanting a strong HC I completely believe. Harbaugh was never an option. And it is the key reason why no matter what this team does, as long as ownership stays where it is, we are fucked.

I mentioned earlier on one of the threads that Santos' comparatively weaker leg puts us at a disadvantage with other kickers around the league. We've talked enough about Flus being a pussy the last 30 seconds. Santos hit a very low kick, that's not debatable. That kick probably would have had the distance and may even have split the uprights. But when your guy has a weaker leg, he's going to be more vulnerable to blocks the further out the kick is. I don't hate Santos, he's been pretty reliable. But this was the biggest kick of his Bears career. Poles is going to need to reevaluate the position in the offseason but hopefully he doesn't waste a 3rd rounder on his replacement.

Odunze escorts his defender out the stadium. Keenan Allen does Keenan Allen blocking things and gets beat in 1 second.

Lol, dude seriously. Are you even aware you're suggesting to replace the most accurate kicker in team history? Unless he goes on a bad run later in the season Santos will be back next season i promise you.

Amazing how quickly the horror years of Barf, Parkey, Piniero can be forgotten.
