Unless this team makes the playoffs, firing everyone on Black Monday should be the only plan. That includes Poles. He’s the architect of this cavalcade of dipshits masquerading as a roster and picking Eberflush, then kept Eberflush when he should have let go.

 

If it is DJ, I will join Ev on the hate train. Benching Caleb, when Flus kept him in to get injured, would basically be giving up on him which is absolute fuckery.

But this is a live dumpster fire we all get to watch, because Flus will only be fired at end of year, which is all but guaranteed at this point. I'm torn, because while I agree it's a scapegoat move, does anyone disagree it needed to be done? The only thing people are saying really is that Flus should have been canned first, which is also true. We aren't a better team today without Waldron, probably, and we wouldn't be without Flus, because their replacements are not on the roster. We will see how ugly it gets, but I'm still saying there will be 1-2 more wins the rest of the way, if just by pure dumb luck, this is football.

The bears, no matter how bad—always have an uncanny ability to make a team they have no business winning against look stupid (over the past decade, it’s mostly been good Minnesota teams with teams like SF in that monsoon game sprinkled in) and they win.

On the other hand, I won’t expect it or complain this week if the packers hang 50 on this team, to expedite the shitcannings. I already know Eberflush doesn’t believe in generating a pass rush on Jordan Love so he’ll look like an MVP, and a quick slant is going to gut this defense for big chunk gains on 3rd and long—but because I’m a fucking mope, I’ll watch.
