His injuries dropped him for me since the GMO but If I needed a DT and had a pick sometime in the last round I would have taken him.
I did get Mata'afa but I wanted a guy that could play on the end too and they graded out relatively close.
Plus there was not a ton of method to the order I scouted guys or positions. Through 2 rounds it made sense. After that I would start scouting, say, WRs, but I might realize one player in I was too tired to concentrate. So I would go on hold, and the next day might jump to OLs and get through 10 guys. And of course where I looked for rankings would effect who got scouted in what order. So everyone consensus round 3 or later was in total Cluster-F**+ order. I just got ‘er done piecemeal
If anyone has any interest in RB Mike Gillislee or DT Vincent Valentine, Pats would take a late pick for either one. I like Valentine but he was hurt all last year and we picked Harrison Phillips in this mock. I'd be perfectly content to roll with White, Burkhead, and Hill this year if we can get something for Gillislee. He's a pretty good runner but he doesn't do enough other things to make the Pats game day roster most weeks.
My draftboard is getting swatted around badly now with some of these picks. I have a hard time thinking Simmie Cobbs Jr. is going to make it to the fifth late this month.
I was thinking the same thing. There is a plethora of talent still remaining all over my board. So much so, I’m having a rough time figuring out my next selection.
