He's a good one from what ive seen. Allowed only three QB hurries in 2017, according to Pro Football Focus — tied for the lowest pressure rate allowed by any offensive tackle at the Senior Bowl. Compact, low center of gravity and always moving his feet... nothing really bad about the guy, except he's a Duck, lol.
Thanks for the trade offers received after considering all three we have decided to retain the pick and select: Harrison Phillips DT Stanford
I was just talking about him sliding to RT and my brother. That was my brother's 2nd round Falcons pick if he went with Rashaad Evans instead of Maurice Hurst in the 1st (ya Titans took him 1 pick earlier but he was 50-50 on it before that). Instead he traded back a tad and took Shaquem.
I almost took him at 3(23) but felt like I had to take Ogbonnia Okoronkwo. I made the move to get him now.
Colts SS Derwin James LB Leighton Vander Esch WR Courtland Sutton CB Mike Hughes OL Jamarco Jones DE Ogbonnia Okoronkwo RB Royce Freeman
That's the plan. It will be hard for the Colts to fuck up in real life unless they reach. Sadly every pick I made was a need you could argue should be picked sooner. Good news is I essentially covered every "need" within the first 3 rounds. Just 2 7ths left but with so much ammo I felt I had to use it if I had a guy in sight.
I had a 2nd round grade on a certain player in the GMO but I've cooled on him since. I wonder if he'll go soon.
Do we still have rules about acquiring a player and then trading him? Sometimes crazy shit happens....Look at the Osweiller deal last year....I think owners should be able to deal anybody they choose as long as it's within NFL rules...Just my take. If my team signs somebody I don't like, I should be able to trade him if I can find a deal, if I choose...Just because it isn't commonplace, doesn't necessarily mean it would never happen...Sometimes circumstances arise that change the plan...
