Did that go over your head Sol? I was talking about Rudolph getting there in decade.

    In Solomon's world...
A quarterback could never play in an NFL game, but only play in and win the SB... and be qualified for GOAT.

TIL, Nick Foles is closer to GOAT than Ben Roethlisberger. Get the fuck out of here!

So for last season Big Ben was a lesser loser than Brady because he got the losing done in short order, got it. Bortles losing AFCCG to Brady making him a lesser loser as well. Hell the Browns even lesser losers than that. Does this mean the Browns of 2017 were grater than the Patriots 2017?

I don’t. I only see 3 grates on the list so far.
Where does Eli fit? Did he have a grate season last year or what, getting all that losing done to make sure he doesn’t spoil it on the big stage.....both grate and efficient.

Go over my head? How about, can you hold to the train of the conversation? The original comment was that Bart had won 5 super bowls which is untrue, so my reply was still to the context of the original comment, flared by you re-mentioning the 5 Super Bowls, which to me was more germane that the recently introduced rudolph.

Try to stay with the program.

No, can't you people read? I've already dismissed 1 hit wonders.

No, the Patriots will always be "grater" [sic]. The measure for QBs is different than that of any other player. People say "Brady lost (or not) the Super Bowl" they don't say, the RB won or lost, or the OT won or lost the Super Bowl. So like the other players, teams are different, mainly because it's usually completely different casts between SBs.

See, that isn't a list of all the QBs I consider great, just the only ones Greater than Brady, but not necessarily better than Brady. (Except Montana)

What ifs are fun, but at the end of the day, it's did the QB do enough to insure they won the game. In reality, Montana did, in your fantasy, no. And that one change would have butterfly effect-ed the history of the NFL from then on.

    Sooooooooo...
Phil Simms is “grater” than Ben?
Phil Simms is closer to GOAT than TB12.
Phil Simms is on par with Bart Starr.

    I’m fucking dying here!

You're stupid there. What part of "dismissed 1 hit wonders" is too difficult for you to understand?

Me st00pid? Simms won twice (XXI and XXV).

    Checkmate

What's that, makes people including you with that ^ 2 cents, unable to understand simple English?

Yes, you. Phil won the SB once, Hostetler won the other. Sure, phil was a member of 2 SB winning teams but only played in 1.
Pawn takes queen, checkmate, yes, but you are checkmated.

To win the Super Bowl you have to get there. A conference championship game loser = a poor man's Super Bowl loser.

Again. This brings me back to the hypothetical QB who never plays during the season, but only plays in Super Bowls. If that QB wins the SB (I don’t know... 8 times) but never wins in the regular season or playoffs, with your “logic”, that QB could potentially be the GOAT. Plus, your thinking dissolves the idea of football as a team sport.

I love that Steve Young is a one-hit wonder.

And that Jim Plunkett is greater than Dan Marino and Steve Young and Ben Roethlisberger and Roger Staubach ... and ... and ... and ...

Fair enough. So if we’re talking strictly QBs was DeShone Kizer a lesser loser than Brady last season?
    Kizer grater season than Brady?

  20. firehalo Guest

No. Brady was the biggest loser since he lost on the biggest stage. Right Sol?

    Deshone Kizer>TB12
