No I said Wheaton looked good but not AB good. Rice wasn’t involved in the passing game the way WRs are now. Rudolph is a hell of a lot better than Jones or Dobbs.

True imagine what he would do int he league today.

As for records sometimes they dont tell the whole story. Fro example the single season record holder for touchdowns is as everyone knows Randy Moss who had 23 TDS in 16 games. Rice was the previous record holder with 22. What makes Rices's impressive is he did it in 12 games. Rice also had only 65 receptions that season compared to 98 for Moss.

When Rice played 100 receptions was very rare, now we are getting close to needing two hands to count the 100 reception WR on one hand.

Whichmakes rices 4 years of 100+ receptions even more impressive. Yes 4 is a low number but as you said it was the exception not the norm.

Brown may indeed take some of Rices records and may some day get to throw his name into the G.O.A.T. WR argument but at this time its Rice then everybody else.

This whole thread reminds me of the scene in the Princess Bride where the actors postulate what cup the poison's in.
