thats a chart from Scott Cullen at TSN.

    same idea here from '09.

Im assuming that this is Cullen's opinion of the player's slotting. Im not sure how accurate it is, would love to see how he has ranked everyone. Having the '09 sample can give some perspective in to his thoughts.

    from his '14 draft article-

Are his rights owned by the hockey team from Boston? If so, does he make Subban expendiable?

I do not see any Buffalo Sabres prospects on this list, but there's an 80%, (well, technically right now, about a 70%), chance that Eichel is one on draft day. Go Sabres!

    Philthadelphia won for me.

    Hooray, don't Lindros him Hexy.

yes and sort of i think.
expendable may not be the right word because I believe that Subban is the better prospect but Gothberg/Mcintyre makes dealing Subban that much easier to swallow.

You posted a good overview of the hockey team from Boston's personnel needs and strengths on the team board. I think they could fix a lot of what many feel is ailing them in one productive off season. Since Rask is there I think they'll be prudent to let it be known that G prospects are available at the right place.

Just because I say less than caustic things here, I still can't stand them. Also, two NHL owners are from Buffalo and you've got the one named Jacobs. Ha ha!

Eichel is ready to be a Sabre.

He was a machine in the HockeyEast semis last night. Unfair how long his reach is on top of his hands and speed. I hate everything about BU but this kid is undoubtedly the best NCAA freshman since Kariya. He really should still be in high school too. One thing that I think generally gets overlooked is how dominant he is in the 3rd. He ramps it up somehow.

strange looking SOB though isn't he?

ouch, thats cold Dan. i don't like facing that reality.

Sorry, Matty. I had said some things that could be considered positives about the hockey team from Boston. I had to balance it out; it's a yin & yang thing.

time for a McEichel (8oz of green drink / 8oz of red drink / cherry vodka and orange vodka)... Amherst? is that near Tiajuana?

I got the Avs at 5%; it looks like the Sabres will be served the Eichel drink. This Amherst is a ritzy burb of Buffalo - I think Jacobs lives there.

After their CHL teams were eliminated from the playoffs, the Sabres have signed three ATO contracts with: Samson Reinhart, Eric Cornel and Brycen Martin. They'll all go to Rochester.
All are under 20 but are AHL eligible since their teams are no longer playing. Cornel & Martin will be back in the OHL next year. The important question is where Reinhart skates. If he's put on a lot of weight he could be in Buffalo, but probably should start out next season as an Amerk. I am not sure of his age, but he'll be AHL eligible regardless next season since he's played 4 years in the WHL.
