He was a 17th overall pick currently with the marlies. I think they really like their pick from last year better Rasmus Sandin and he went late 20s. I've heard that they would rather keep him instead.
A lot of teams will be asking for Simmonds, if he goes to boston that makes a series against them even harder.

that's low skinny. they were in dead last at Christmas time. miracle they lasted as long as they did. now i want your Leafs to lose. i was cheering for them until you had to throw a low blow.

 

4 of them are under the age of 25. they need a really skilled veteran to lead them. these kids can't lead on their own. they need a top def UFA if one exists ?

They have a lot of promise on D, they could use a few vets. I think the gm leaving it as is was a risk that he lost.

They should make the playoffs next year but you never know.

 

i was cheering for them bc i think they have the offense to win a few rounds and beat teams. and they haven't won since 1967. they're due.

 

hextall was a mess with having Gord Murphy spy on the team and restrictions to away game meal plans etc. the farm is better. the current team not so much. they do have $20-22 mil this summer and GM Fletcher said Panarin is at the top of his list. Carter Hart showed he is the new #1 goalie in Philly and the other 8 goalies are dead weight and all can go !

Playoffs? they better make it or the GM is sunk. Fans are pissed about not making it this year, so another year on the golf course won't go over well.
