Flyers get Nolan Patrick back ! First 2 lines are decent to solid. the other 2 and the defensive pairings are a mess. too much jumbling of lines. fans are restless. Flyers win 5-2.

Not necessarily. I think he would have gotten axed when the assistant was. If the plan all along was to fire Hakstol also, why the wait? I think Kak is safe for now as the Flyers must be inquiring to other possible GM's who would then either ride it out with Hak or bring in someone of their choosing.

I bet the Flyers even tried kicking the tires on the Yzerman availability also, but I think he heads home to Detroit.

 

they are waiting till they get a GM and once he's in, he will want his own coach. hakstol is a sitting duck !

wow reports are coming out now that hextall was a control freak. he had gord murphy spy on the players when they were talking in the locker room and when the team was trying to eat pizza after a game, hextall changed the menu to organic foods to prevent that. he pissed off alumni by not letting them have access to the current players or locker room for ALL alumni functions and many more odd things. wow. see ya !

 

Hextall was a jerk on the ice, in my opinion, and it doesn't surprise me now that he is a jerk in the front office.
