I can’t stand Nick Morrow. When announcers can only talk about how athletic he is as a positive it’s pretty damned obvious he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
I think on a good team Sanborn is the 4th linebacker. But his instinct is there. The physical ability just doesn’t match. And now he’s hurt, of course.
Fuck 2 guys rolled Sanborn’s ankle. What’s the point of Sterling Weatherford? Didn’t Poles clear roster space earlier this season to pluck this guy from Indy’s practice squad to put him on the 53 man? And he can’t get on the field. Well this game was fun.
Sanborn looks like a football player to me. I get what pat says about some of those small positional errors that can make a large difference, but damn, the kid went undrafted, got thrust into the lineup after the Noquan trade and imo he has more than held his own. Needs to develop in some ways but def def long term starter potential.
The whole left side of the OL just collapsed. Whitehair and Jones completely botched the cross inside.
