No such thing as too much bacon. Ridiculous. You stack a burger high with bacon, jalapenos, and cheese, and I'm happy. So good.
This gave me an idea. I think I'll grill for the game tomorrow... Beer brats, sliced down the middle, stuffed with provolone and bacon strips, covered in grilled onions, crout and celery salt - topped with mustard... Served with a few beers from an ice filled cooler (I have no idea why they taste better that way). Good times...

Perhaps you haven't been exposed to some top shelf thick cut bacon, it is possible to get a high meat to fat ratio. But fat is flavorful. Look at steak, filet is great, no doubt, very lean. But there is nothing wrong with a ribeye or porterhouse, fire up the grill and that fat will dissolve and inject some extra flavor. Guys from Detroit just get it, heh. I don't know what's worse, insulting bratwurst or bacon. Holy hell yes. Good god. I now have to go get an inferior lunch. A great vegan dish. I highly recommend. And yes, lest we forget, the Packers do in fact suck.
