Thanks for your opinion, along with the Packers, I now think you suck. We are Bears fans, we hate the Packers, we have 96 pages in this thread dedicated to the Packers sucking. If you don't agree, I really don't give a shit, find a Packer page where they will agree with you instead of posting your meaningless post on a page that is made up of diehard Bear fans talking about how their most hated rival f*cking sucks.

If you want to get into the nuts and bolts of why the Packers lost, go ahead and start another thread I would be glad to give you my opinion on the Green Bay Aaron Rodgers... I mean Packers, but in the meantime, keep your worthless "they will be back next year" posts out of a thread that we have dedicated to them sucking.

    Thanks

Please refer to the above post, it applies to you as well.

The very first post in this thread says something to the effect of "Doesn't matter how many games they win, they still suck". The point of this thread, and the reason it's stickied, is as a welcome mat to Bears fans. The Packers suck as sure as water is wet.

As aggie says, you can start a thread on how the mightily overrated Packers fell to the Falcons and we can weigh in, otherwise, lets keep this thread on topic.

Lets get this back on track:

That is fine. The Packers do suck. As a team, though, the Bears are worse.

And you continue to miss the point of this thread even though it's been thoroughly explained.

Packers suck. This isn't a thread for objectively talking about football.

The Packers suck. That is the entire and only point of this thread. If you don't like that, GTFO. If you don't understand that, GTFO. If your onboard with all that, comethefuckin!

I LOVED watching them get stomped on sunday, it made watching them beat NY and Dallas all worth it.

Now, in terms of pure satisfaction, the soul-destroyer in Seattle was better. That was all-time classic. But seeing them go in 24-0 at halftime, having just had their guts ripped out, was absolutely hilarious. The game-long entertainment of them sucking was better than Seattle.

But both were great and i thank the Packers for the gift of enjoying their suckage in such different ways.

If you take Aaron Rodgers off the packers, they're bad. Very bad.

Agreed so much. That Seattle game, I remember, I bet on the Packers with my buddy. My reasoning was, I would PAY MONEY to see the Packers lose, so if they won, the consolation was at least I got some money, if they lost I would happily pay money.

So the game was drawing near a close, the Packers seemed destined to close it out with that int. My buddy texts me and says something along the line of "maybe we should call this bet off". I agree. And then the finish happened. I will never again bet ON the Packers, because then they'd probably win the damn superbowl.

I enjoyed the complete curb-stomping more against Atlanta. Because they weren't even playing in the same league. I mean that final drive they pulled out the backup QB. The backup! What are you saving Rodgers for, next year? Holy shit was that gold. I'm sure it's happened before, but I couldn't remember a backup QB coming into an NFC championship game that WASN'T injury related. Aikmann and Buck are fellating Rodgers and the Packers before halftime (well, down by this much if they score a TD and then they get the ball back after the half and it's a game!). And then boom, another TD, 3 and out after the half taking like 40 seconds off the clock and Atlanta scores ANOTHER TD. Brilliant.

The only thing I love more than watching the Packers lose, is the Bears winning.

My hatred for them is unhealthy, but I don't really care. It has boiled over into my family and I don't think they even know why they hate them but my hatred has rubbed off on them.

I bet a large sum of money on the Falcons, not strictly out of my hatred for them, but because people had severely overrated them and a 4 point spread to a degenerate gambler like me was like taking candy from a baby, so not only did I easily win my largest wager of the year, I got to see the Packers get taken to the woodshed by a far superior team.

Packers suck on so many levels and I thank the Falcons for disposing of them so that I can now enjoy the Super Bowl, no matter who wins.

Bravo, well done. Your posts are coming close to sucking almost as much as the Packers do.

  13. Not dead, just apathetic... turned 46 this year and in all those years there were many, many bad Bears years. I have no idea what/why/how this current group have gotten me where I am, but the last 3 years, for the first time in my life, I have intentionally chosen to miss Bears games that I could have watched. I have chosen to spend my time doing something, besides watching the Bears. I still am somewhat aghast as I type that.

I know exactly what you mean.I haven't intentionally missed watchable games yet, but i can't remember the last time i was this disengaged at a TC/preseason point in the year.

I've been thinking a lot about why this is. The two things ive come up with are that i have finally, utterly, irretrievably lost hope that this ownership will ever guide the team to a championship. And yeah, you could say it took me a hell of a long time to get to that point, but i never said i was smart heh.

Also, i think a lot of it has to do with this wall to wall media coverage football gets these days. Between the internet/NFL network etc football is everywhere, all the time. The team seems to be in your life everyday and when they're in a bad spell, it feels like forever. When the Bears were dogcrap in the late 90's say you could very easily switch off between sundays, actually you couldn't switch on if you wanted to cos there were a few newspaper articles a bit on tv but not much else. I didn't resent the team as much back then. They didn't rob me of so much time.

Anyway im glad to hear your that young 3rdgen, your nearer my age than bww's. Thats a good thing. This last 3 years has indeed been sickening. Hearing people talk about this being a throwaway year, after 3 years of bullsh_t, just makes me angry.
