You're on the Bears board on a thread dedicated to our hatred towards the Packers trying to bring up an issue that wasn't previously discussed here. What would you call that? Are you really that emotionally torn about some Bears fan calling for Lion players to get hurt? There was no reason to bring that up and go down that path unless you're looking to start crap.
Why does there need to be justification? He tore the Bears up when we played them. It was a reaction to that.
i brought it up because of the comment about sympathy for injuries. i see people talk shit. are u so emotionally torn when they get called on it? and in my opinion, a pretty damn inappropriate reaction. but i guess i'm not allowed to say so.
People talk shit because this is a message board. It's literally a forum for fans to talk shit. For one, do you really take it that serious? I didn't say it, so I don't know. My thought was it wasn't serious. More of an indictment against our defense than against Bush - as in the only way our stupid defense could stop him was if he was hurt. But I didn't say it, I don't remember the exact context.
I did say something to the effect that the Bears needed to get to Rodgers and hit him because he doesn't like to get hit and that he isn't the same quarterback when they rough him up. That's football. One other thing. He might have gotten hurt a few plays earlier on his first sack. If I remember correctly he was moving his shoulder around a bit then.
Count me in also. But mine was directed solely at Suh. It kind of goes back to the Bible as in "Those who live by the sword, die by the sword". Suh and that j-off Merriweather with the skins dish out too many cheap shots to have pity for them.
The play he got hurt on was the first sack. It was obviously the one that got him injured too because he went down on the left shoulder and stayed down for a minute in obvious pain.
Perhaps it had something to do with the money that he took while at USC and the suspensions it cost the school. I know that is one of the reasons why I detest Pete Carroll as much as I do (his players using roids is the other). Bush, is just another dumb jock but Carroll is the real scum bag.
I don't think that what was said about Bush is anything more than the stuff yelled during a game by fans who are passionate about their team. How many occasions do you hear something like......"Rip his head off"........ "Kill him"....... "Plant the SOB in the ground" ..... et al. This crap shouldn't be taken literally. Its all bluster.
Maybe we should change the name of this thread to the Lions, Vikings and Packers suck. Or just have one for each individual team in our division. I hate them all almost equally but the Packers still lead the way when it comes to my loathing. Packers SUCK!!! But Lions do as well and have actually been a lot better at sucking throughout their history.
