i don't expect fans of one team to be particularly sympathetic toward an injured opponent. but i'd sure like to not see them calling for their own players to intentionally injure opponents.
I don't think anyone was calling for the Bears to injure Rodgers. No one wants to see an injury on a team. The thing was how do the Bears go into GB where they have not won since 2007 and win without Cutler and Briggs, the answer was if well if Rodgers got injured the Bears would have a chance. That isn't saying anyone wanted to see Rodgers get hurt. It wasn't a dirty play, it wasn't a play to intentionally hurt Rodgers.
No one wants injuries, but that's also a textbook tackle, and football is a tough sport. I hope we don't see some more "can't tackle the QB" rules come into play.
Shea actually uses his arms to wrap up, it was a great tackle, Rodgers just fell awkwardly. I wish more of the Bears would wrap up like Shea did on that play. There was no intent to injure him in anyway, just bad luck. I don't think anyone in here has called for anybody to intentionally injure any of the Packers, i sure haven't but it is what it is at this point, injuries are part of the game. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
i'm not talking about last night, mary. i'm talking about several here who called for bears players to injure lions when we played. mongo, blang, and patg. possibly others, those were the ones i noticed.
Well considering Suh has blatantly tried to injure Cutler more than once.................yeah, I'd say that's fair.
lol, great rationalization. i suppose you'll say reggie bush is dirty too now? only one of the comments i refer to was directed at suh.
Yeah, I called for us to take out Suh, and I'm not going back on that. Seeing how Suh tried to destroy Cutler's shoulder last year as well as numerous, numerous other players across the league, we would be doing a service sending his ass to the locker room. Lions swallow.
Dude, whatever. It's football and this is a message board filled with drunken football fans. If you need rationalization...............you came to the wrong place.
If Suh someday gets chop blocked and has his knees racked by an offensive lineman or running back............it'll be football karma catching up with him.
Not sure what game you wanna play here lulz but I can assure you whatever it is you picked the wrong guy to play it with.
Well, if you are talking about Suh, then yeah if falls into the category of players I don't mind seeing injured. He goes out there and deliberately tries to injure other players. Karma is a bitch.
