Scotty, that was excellent. Put my teeth right on edge but it was hilarious.

I still have nightmares where I hear my kids crying Mommmmmmmaaaaaa and I sit up in bed in a complete panic.

I don't know how parents manage to survive their kids. Seriously.

Dude, what the fuck is up with Greg Jennings? Brain washed?

Plenty of patience and lots of love. You can't go wrong. Enjoy the ride.

  8. LOL. So, to make it funnier. The favorite stuffed animal is a Green teddy bear (aptly named Mr. Green Bear). Over the last year, my son has gradually picked the fuzz off of the Bear and turned him white. Apparently my son knows that Bears should not be Green.

    Well executed sir.

  10. Totally agreed. You just roll with it. Mine are just babies, but they are a blast. I miss my sleep, but it is worth it. ;)

Smart lad. Sounds like you may have a honor role student in the making.

Will Momma let him play football?

    Funny you should mention that

People need to stop asking Greg Jennings about the Green Bay Packers.

It's now exceedingly clear that Jennings is unable to help himself when questioned about his former team. He will respond. It's Pavlovian conditioning.

We've reached the point where the question doesn't even have to be directly about the Packers. Case in point: On Wednesday, Jennings -- a Super Bowl winner in Green Bay -- was asked if the Minnesota Vikings had championship-type qualities.

"We do," Jennings told KFXN-FM, via FoxSportsNorth.com. "One of the things that obviously drew me to coming over here was the makeup of the team. When I came over here, I kind of had, I was kind of brainwashed. There's no 'kind of' to it. Being over in Green Bay, you're brainwashed to think that anyone in the division is just tiers below.

"So coming over here I meet the people within the organization and I'm like, 'Wow, these are really great people.' "

And this is how Jennings gets himself in trouble. He can claim the comment is innocent, which it mostly is (what team doesn't train its players to think they're the best?). But Jennings doesn't need to go out of his way to jab the Packers in order to pump up the Vikings.

It's all kind of weird, and we're sure it doesn't sit well with Vikings coach Leslie Frazier, who already has made it clear he wants Jennings to keep his focus on Minnesota.

There's nothing wrong with Jennings having a chip on his shoulder about his departure from Green Bay. It even can be helpful. But going against the public wishes of his coach helps no one. Move on, Greg.

not sure what his problem is but he should no doubt keep his piehole shut and just play ball. I always like GJ and hopes he does well in life but a part of me can't wait for him to take a high pass down the middle the first time the Vikes square off against the Pack

A lot of talking and a lot of push ups with a jet ski on his back, but not much on the field. We will see how he does with Ponder... AP should give him one on ones...

I think he was a product of Rodger's timing routes.

  15. Thank you. As for football, oh my. There is part of me that wants to say no, but realistically, I am big believer in sports. I love them, I love to play them, I want my kids to love them. So, at this point, if he wants to, I will probably say ok. Genetics aren't really on his side - if he is like my husband or me, he will be skinny in high school but if is like my husband and me that he could be pretty darn fast. So, who knows. It will be up to him if he wants to play.

Sounds like a WR. Play plenty of catch with him.

    Good plan.

I remember one of my high school friend's younger brothers. Chubby kid and we played street ball when he was in grade school. He snapped the ball to us over and over and over again out of the shotgun. In middle school he could deep snap with great accuracy. I showed him the Patrick Mannelly website. He did those drills.

Once he reached high school, he won awards for his play at center. Including best athlete on his team.
