I have a very weak cell signal at my house because I live in a gigantic forest (think Hansel and Gretel) so I have to go to the bottom of my driveway to get a decent signal. Because I live in this magical forest it is also full of massive blood-thirsty mosquitoes. I have to take my car to the end of the driveway, keeping all the windows shut in order to not die of blood loss while trying to send a message (case in point). Meanwhile all of my neighbors who are driving by think I have lost what little mind I have. LOL Oh and the crew put my internet satellite dish back exactly where they took it off but of course ... it's not working. This means that I have to get my ladder and climb up on the roof to try to fix it. Coincidentally that is exactly the same spot I fell from the roof 13 years ago, badly damaging my neck. I sure hope I have better luck on it this time

Made it to Lambeau once years ago for a pre-season game. Season game tickets are a bitch to get. My son's Father In Law is a season ticket holder and has offered, from time to time, to take me to a game. But he is one of those people who thinks they know a lot about a lot and has made it a habit of telling everyone how successful he is. Couldn't stomach spending an entire day with him just to see a game. Besides, he always offers during the 2 week Whitetail rut and I am not missing that for anything. As for Soldier Field, I would love to take in a game there, but I am too old to get into a scuffle. My son went to the NFC Championship game and had beer thrown on them the entire game. I learned long ago that the best place to watch the game is on my wide screen HD sitting in my easy chair Yep, there are a lot of chuckleheads at the Hoopla site. Most I remember from cBS but they know their place. I just ignore them as I always did so they don't pose much of a threat. I do enjoy it however because it has the variety that I like. As much as I love football, I just can't find enough things to discuss about it throughout the year. Need my MLB, PGA, hunting, fishing and music threads, something that this site just doesn't offer. I will stop by here from time to time as I miss a lot of the regulars. Now that the Brewers have shat in their pants and have not been in contention since forever, I am looking forward to getting the 2013 season underway to give me an excuse to do a little friendly trash talking Stay frosty brother
Hey Packerzzzz ... why don't you get your son to angle two tickets from his in-law so that the two of you can go to a regular season game together? That would be an awesome way to spend time with your son right? I, for one, don't think you're too old to fight ... remember Packerzzz, "Sticks and bottles may break my bones but names will never hurt me". But maybe you're right ... judging by what I've read on the Bears threads you might be on to something ... I think some of these guys do settle discussions more often with their fists (Sorry everyone, I'm really just referring to BWW)
