You know this is interesting ... I just checked and we are actually the 3rd largest board on Mud! The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens boards are bigger but we're a close 3rd. That's pretty cool huh?
Thanks for pissing me off today. f_cking refs. That was the Mike Carey game where they flagged us @ home 10 times including extending a Packer drive with a Bogus offsides on Peppers - Replays show he was not offsides. Then there was a bogus offsides on Briggs (again, he was clearly on side) that negated a 61 yard INT by Tillman. Then there was the Bullsh_t call where Hester got into it with Sam Shields and after getting tackled, kicked and slapped, Hester got called for the UR penalty. Oh, and the Phantom holding on Corey Graham that negated a TD. I find it comical that people don't believe refs can change the course of a game and label you a whiner when you actually call out the refs... But, when you look at those 4 completely wrong calls, you realize that 3 of 4 of those "bogus" calls directly affected the scoreboard in favor of the Packers. 2 of them took 14 points away from us. One of them put 7 points on for them. What looked like a 10 point win for the Packers could have just as easily been a 31-20 win for the Bears had they been correctly called.
Mongo can't they change those calls? I mean like in hockey where if the refs have any questions about their own call it goes right upstairs to be re-examined?
baby, the only thing they can review in hockey are goals. a ref's penalty call, right or wrong, is carved in stone. he can chat about it with his cohorts (on the ice, not in the war room), or he can act on his own - but once a call is made, it stands, regardless of any video evidence. the only exception is in the case of certain majors (5 minute penalties with automatic additional consequences). after the game, if they decide that a major was called in error, they can rescind it - thereby absolving the player of any additional disciplinary action. but that 5 minutes his team was shorthanded, and his absence from the rest of the game due to an automatic game misconduct penalty, can never be fixed.
Thanks Mongo ... sort of. Thanks Lulz. All I can say is that sucks. It's also very stupid. Especially when it results in a bad loss for the Bears.
dline, is this the kind of drumming you were talking about? This is amazing and entertaining and so much fun!! http://sourcefednews.com/the-best-high-school-drum-line-ever/
I could have gone my entire life having never seen that packer cheerleader tryout picture, and been just fine with it.
Oh my God. BWW my ears and my eyes hurt!! How can you do this to us poor unsuspecting and innocent people so early in the morning? What is wrong with you!! Packers Gangam style? Jesus that is wrong on so many levels. Too many to count.
