I thought there was a standing offer to Idonije from the Bears? McBride might have been signed due to Idonije waiting to long to decide. He was hoping for a better offer but obviously did not get it. Emery just isn't going to pay over market value for players, regardless of how they have played for the Bears in the past. Defensive lineman are finding a tough market out there. Abraham is still a free agent, Freeney had a hell of time finding a team and a few others didn't get big numbers like they used to. It is not just the Bears doing this, it is a league wide trend. Case in point, Ed Reed is in Houston.
And that was with Tice as OC. I am excited to see what he can do with an OC who will design plays for him to get him open.
He doesn't have to get open. He is always open, but he isn't always the best target. If we are going to be a good offense, the other players have to get involved. That is what excites me the most about Marshall, what he can do for his teammates.

I think it is funny that of all the teams, they came up with that designation considering their offense, outside of Jones-Drew, has been weaponless for the better part of 10 years.
