    Huh ... gidion is back.

    How strange.

I thought McAffee was pretty funny. I also thought he was an actor. Strange guy :)

So why are the Bears being sold?

Okay I'm stealing this from the NFL site.

Which football movie is better and why?:

The Longest Yard vs The Longest Yard

Heaven Can Wait vs The Waterboy

Friday Night Lights vs The Wildcats

Any Given Sunday vs All the Right Moves

We Are Marshall vs Against All Odds

    The Express vs The Program

North Dallas Forty vs Necessary Roughness

    Rudy vs Brian's Song

Little Giants vs Remember The Titans

The real question is why is North Dallas Forty not mentioned? Where is Necessary Roughness? Brian's Song? Rudy? Little Giants? C'mon man.

The original Longest Yard is far better than Adam Sandler's pile of crap. Burt Reynolds lost some coolness being in the remake.

Heaven Can Wait sucks as bad as Warren Beatty does. So Waterboy wins by default, and also because Henry Winkler is in it.

I'll take the Wildcats over Friday Night Lights because it was filmed in Chicago. Though Remember the Titans was more realistic when it comes to actual high school football.

Any Given Sunday vs All the Right Movies? Anyone buy Tom Cruise as a football player, even in high school? Me neither.

We Are Marshall wins because Matthew McConamoron is more convincing as a coach than Jeff Bridges is as a football player in Against All Odds.

I'm a big James Caan fan so The Program beats The Express, which featured too many historical inaccuracies for me to tolerate.

There aren't a lot of good football movies. It's sad.

The first one was the hardest trying to figure out if the Longest Yard was better than the Longest Yard.

    Original versus the remake.

    Not really very difficult.

Thanks ginny, I updated my post to include it.

I haven't seen that many football movies but some of them are familiar. Almost all of them are real tearjerkers huh?

Yeah. Big loss to the world of cinema.

    Incredible actor really.

He played the role of what every little boy wants to grow up to be ... :)

Hand over your Bears Card if you did not answer the original Brians Song. It's the only movie acceptable for a man to tear up at.

    The Packers Suck

I'll take this one too. Hard not to since it was filmed on my H.S. football field....

I haven't seen either of those films but that is pretty neat that it was filmed where you once played Mongo.

I've seen The Longest Yard with Burt Reynolds, The Waterboy, and We Are Marshall. That doesn't look like that many. Wait I've also seen Brian's Song a long time ago.

And you're right bww, Matthew McConaughie was perfect for the role coz he's absolutely yummy!! Pretty much anywhere ... dude doesn't even have to open his mouth to say anything and he wins :)

    I'm so shallow.

The Packers suck and they have some very interesting stuff online. I was just looking around and found some things that you all have probably already seen. Me, not so much.

That last one hurt my eyes so badly I need to quit.

Ugh. How can anyone do that to themselves?

It wouldn't even help if she knows a lot about football.
