67's win triple-OT thriller to complete sweep of Wolves in Sudbury It took three games for the much-anticipated all-world goaltending duel between Ottawa 67’s Mikey DiPietro and Sudbury Wolves’ Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and once it did, it almost never ended. In fact, the repeat of the Team Canada and Team Finland overtime battle in the quarterfinal at this year’s world juniors in Vancouver almost made Ontario Hockey League history for the longest playoff game ever. The two best goalies in all of junior hockey went save-for-save for 110 minutes, 15 seconds (4 1/2 hours in real time) and combined for 118 saves before Tye Felhaber finally ended it 26 minutes shy of midnight with an overtime goal at 10:15 as the 67’s won 3-2 in triple overtime to complete a sweep of the Wolves at the Sudbury Arena “late” Thursday night. For three games it was not. And when the 67’s chased the Buffalo Sabres’ Round 2 pick in 2017 with five goals on 23 shots in 37 minutes, all bets were off until Luukkonen put on a performance for the ages to almost match DiPietro at the other end.
Vacouver is near the Pacific Ocean. Imagine bringing home that lynx as a pet, your cats would be hiding forever.

beautiful pix VV. Wow. lucky you. and skinny i know where Vancouver is. im not an idiotic. "near the Pacific!" duh. hahahahaha
Congrats and excuse my half ass roster, I couldn't make it to the draft. The leafs were in trouble before the series began, not because of Kadri. The Bs might be hurting in the back end. Auston Matthews has to step it up, generational player? Wow, come on and show your damn worth. He's supposed to be the best US born hockey player ever and right now I'd rather have Brett Hull or JR in their prime.
They have 3 hr cruises here, people get sloshed and there's a DJ and dinner. As soon as you start having some fun, the cruise is over.
Avs and Flames under way. Man they were giving out lime tequila and a shot glass on the street, I'm enjoying this playoff ride so far.
