    Stopper,

Help me out here. What the hell does Glazer's reporting have to do with the "morons" running the Browns front office?

  2. Do u think he is just making these things up or is it coming from a source.....my guess wuld b a source associated w the Browns therefore "morons"

    Stopper,

Specifically . . . what NFL team are you a fan of?

They are going to rag Cleveland no matter who they select at #4 (I think they'll move back a few spots and allow someone to take Clowney, Matthews or Mack). Who cares what they say?

I have always been a big believer in doing whatever you need to do to get a franchise QB but I don't have a clue who the top QBs are in this draft. I think they're basically all the same with my vote leaning towards SA's boy Aaron Murray (speaking of which why isn't SA talking about Murray?)

Throw all these guys in a hat and who comes out as the best option...?

    Blake Bortles
    Derek Carr
    Zach Mettenberg
    Johnny Manziel
    Teddy Bridgewater
    Aaron Murray

I just don't know and I don't think anyone else really knows either. I intentionally excluded Savage, McCarron and Garoppolo. I think they're a notch below the rest.

I still think the Browns best option would be to give Hoodie the 35th for Mallett and give him a nice 5 year extension as part of the deal. It's less riskier than any of the options above and it won't have a financial impact on the Browns. They have more than enough money to pay a medium priced QB and do extensions for their young talent.

He and Irish have been drinking so much JF kool-aid that they don't believe there are any other QB's in the draft. :p

Go back to scouting defense beach, you are obviously out of your league on the QB topic...

Believe me, I know there are other QBs in this draft, I am simply sick and tired of taking the 5th-10th best QB in the draft and having the same tired arguments about getting a competent one two years after we draft them.

If anything is true about the info coming out...If somehow the Browns have their choice of QBs at #4, I don't care if one is rated 9.5 and the other is rated 9.55...Take the one you have rated 9.55 and stop playing games. Get the one you are most confident in and lets get going.

Obviously, if your best is rated 4.55 and you have other positions rated highly, I am not asking them to take a QB..I simply cannot get on board with the concept that these QBs are less qualified than others taken the past 10 years, the film says something completely different.

The biggest difference between those drafts and the one in 2014 is the level of non QB talent being higher and deeper than it has in decades. Still shouldn't take away from the QBs and I ultimately believe these GMs see through the nonsense that the talking heads are evaluating.

Doesn't say they won't draft him... just that they won't draft him at #4.

I for one cannot wait to trade up and get the next QB sensation.

    ;)

Couldn't stop myself from yanking your chain Irish

Irish, I know that we can agree that this draft gives Farmer and Co. the best chance in over a decade for the Browns to draft the QB of the future. As I said before I'm not sold that any of the top three is head and shoulders above the others. Each one has good qualities and his faults. Regardless of where any one of these QB's are drafted I don't think that any one of them should be considered a starter in their first season.

All that and I'm just sick of hearing all about JF this and JF football that. I'm just not buying into all the hype that surrounds him. If Farmer and Co. think he's the top QB I can get behind that.

Oh I've seen it. I try to thumb you up as much as possible to counteract the infants in here. :[

I considered he may be playing games until I saw his next post where he said the Browns would take himself over Manziel at 4. He left the door open for later in the draft.

  15. SAS M.V.P. Rams Chargers

    Well thank ye', kindly! ;)

    All right, fine.

The Browns will trade down and get Manziel. Probably to some sucker team who wants Watkins.

  16. Lym, I was a HUGE Browns fan back in the day.....my aunt had seasons tickets behind the dugout at the old stadium and she took me all the time, I literally cried when Byner fumbled at the goalline at the age of 12. When they left in '99 I just became a NFL fan and mostly individual players w fantasy now. Football is my fav sport as I played in college and coach now so that is why Im here...I wuld b very intrigued and wuld prbly follow the Browns every week if Manziel is their pick as I feel he is a TRUE talent. I live here so I here all the crazy talk everyday bout this and that and every yr the Browns will do this, but until they get a player the caliber of Kosar(just using a former successful Brown) this team will go nowhere.

Mary Kay Cabot writes today that Cleveland GM Ray Farmer is targeting Teddy Bridgewater.

Don't bother Crex. He's not being serious. He's trying to make fun of me because after I made the statement that Jay Glazer is almost never wrong I then went out and found journalists (you know like his competitors) that actually shared the opinion and posted it on twitter. He doesn't seem to understand the notion of supporting your argument and instead just wants to say, "No he's not because I say so."

Oh and then he thumbed me down...
