    Receptions Yards Avg TDs
    Bell 312 2660 8.5 7
    Kelce 307 3900 12.7 22

Bell also adds over 5000 rushing yards and 35 rushing TDs which really dwarfs Kelce's numbers. Though I guess you an try to add in the Chiefs rushing totals but Kelce is a much better receiver than blocker imo.

Neither of them would've started until 2 seasons ago when Heath retired. Waste of a 2nd round pick, and since they wasted the 1st on Jones that would have been completely unacceptable. This would not even be a topic if not for this offseason.

They’ve had wastes of 2nd round picks before that didn’t play at all, at least with Kelce they would be set at TE for the next 6-8 years after Millers retirement instead of wasting picks and time with the 2 FA TEs they’ve picked up that barely played

Kelce would have better numbers in the Steelers offense plus create more opportunities for receivers and the runnng game

No, he wouldn't. He would not have started over Miller, and he would not have more production where he was at best the 3rd option in the passing game as he has had where he is the first option.

That part is true but in 2013-2016 the team needed a starting RB far more than a backup TE.

Yes he would have, I’m talking about since Miller left, his numbers with the Steelers would have been better than with KC in that same timeframe

Many on this board already have proven that D Williams put up numbers as good as Bell

Great, how did the RBs in 2012 do? Dwyer led the way with a whopping 623 yards. The Steelers desperately needed a feature back. Dwyer started the first 3 games in 2013 and put up less than 200 yards as Bell was coming back from an injury. Bell came in and lit a spark for the Steelers offense. I'm sorry, but a backup TE isn't going to do that. You want Bell gone now? Fine, so do a lot of people, including me. But don't act like he wasn't an instrumental piece of the team's offense for much of the past 5 years. He was absolutely the right pick in 2013. He was the perfect back for the offense, and he is unlikely have the same success elsewhere as a RB next season. He still is the better player (talking about only on the field and none of his off the field bs that is currently going on) and I would rather have Bell out there. But, when you add in the off the field crap then I completely agree that he is done as a Steeler and I would not be opposed to deactivating him whenever he finally decides to waltz his way back to the team again.

Disagree even with Bell you get the same result one way or another, It’s the same sh1t for the last 5-6 years.

Bell has been coddled and now he's a spoiled brat. Go figure. We need a coach that is a disciplinarian. Don't say that is outdated. Just look at the results in New England.

It's funny the Bell's of the world go to NE and behave. Maybe it's a coaching thing / team culture thing. Hmmm wonder who controls that.

    IMHO the equation is

Le'Veon Bell + Paided whatever he wants = Le'Veon Woodley

With LeVeon we might have overcome our head coaching and defensive deficiencies and be 2-0 right now instead of 0-1-1 ..... Tomlin needs lot of star players to make up for his deficiencies and we are one star player short of a win these days ..... Tomlin created a coddled brat monster in Bell but we still need him .... Tomlin runs a 3-B ring circus (Ben Brown And Bell) and we are short one of those B's....it's not like Tomlin ever won a game with his superior coaching

Unless Bell somehow developed into a Hall of Fame defender, he wouldn't have made much of a difference.
