Not sure if you heard since no one followed up and posted it, but yes - the guy was banned from Eagles games and even lost his job. Foul-mouthed fan banned from Eagles home games, fired from job after viral tirade against woman
I'm big on the idea that system fit is critical when building your roster, and that you pay a heavy price when you change schemes. This is part of where the Falcons keep going wrong - they keep changing schemes and coaches, with players brought in or drafted specifically for the old system no longer fitting the needs of the new coaching staff. But this year they screwed it up a slightly different way, by trying to make the square pegs fit the round holes. An article in SI (link below) nailed it. Justin Simmons had been a rock-solid tackler for Denver. New Falcons DC Jimmy Lake (now ex-Falcons DC Jimmy Lake) had him play deep, out of his element. He missed 21.5% of his tackles. NFL Tackling Data Shows How Far Atlanta Falcons Falcons Fell Under Jimmy Lake So now Raheem Morris turns to someone he knows from his first stint in Atlanta - Jeff Ulbrich. Will the Falcons throw away more former draft picks just because of yet another coach/system change? I hope not, because at the moment they only have four picks this year to replace people.
I had seen that yes, just never posted myself since i've been v limited in posting time recently and no one seemed to give a shit about my original post. Thanks for updating everyone tho. Im pleased with the outcome. Maybe it seems harsh the guy losing his job over it, but personally i say fuckim. He displayed pure sub-human behavior and imo it should met head on. You don't get to treat people that way who are just trying to enjoy watching their team play.
lol. At first i thought, you were just kidding, then I thought, damn, maybe there is something to this, because the 'bigshot' sports sites around have said the Vikings would be a top 5 fit for Rodgers. I personally think he doest have 'it' anymore and ought to retire. He would need to stand behind a brick wall to get rid of the ball... Im not sold on him being any kind of investment to any team in the NFL. His numbers were 'ok' when he played last year, but old, brittle, slow, and 'ok', isnt a hot commodity in todays game or Id be playing, lol.
