For my money, this is the best QB situation in the NFL. That was an impressive snap breakdown of all the QB's Tim.
I'll just start off by saying the Steelers were cringeworthy and the expanded playoffs will make it possible for a bad team to get in. Still, the Steelers were the team that won their last two when they needed to. The Chargers lost 3 of their last 4, including a game to the Texans. The Colts lost their last two, including one to the Jags. If it's a win and you're in scenario, then win. But, I have no illusions about the Steelers. Decent D. Atrocious O. The Chiefs did what I expected. The fact that Pittsburgh actually had a lead at one point almost gave me an MI.
With Ben officially retiring, that makes this the shakiest QB situation in football. Regardless of how much joy that brings, it's my honest opinion. That said, if they did somehow land Aaron Rogers, they become instant SB contenders.
In my opinion, this looks like two very close and entertaining football games. Im thinking 3 to 7 point games with KC and LA coming out on top for the SB. KC 32, CIN 28 LAR 35, SF 32 Watcha got?
I think your KC-Cin is spot on. 31-27 or so, Chiefs I think the only way SF keeps it close is by a low score. Jimmy G's lack of production catches up. I'll take the Rams but more like 24-19.
I have it close for only one simple reason... SF seems to have their number. Stafford to Kupp is probably what puts LA over the top, but stop Kupp and SF might pull it off again.
The chiefs lost that game when they tried for a dagger in the heart instead of adding a nail into the coffin. Sure a TD right before the half would have likely ended the game. Especially if the Chiefs come out in the second half with their hearts still intact. Even adding a field goal would have been somewhat demoralizing for the bengals. Instead the Bengals mad a stop that sent them into the locker room soaring high. They came out still soaring and the chiefs seemed in disbelief that they had been turned away. Granted rarely does one play win or loose a game for a team but their failure to put up points right before the half sealed their fate imho of course.
This is a nice assessment Jean. I felt that, when it happened, it could have a bearing on the outcome. It was a botched possession and a missed chance for KC.
Two thoughts If thats the best they could do they should have stayed the WFT and Tom Brady should ask Mo Lewis to introduce him into the hall of fame.
The stack with Woodside and Hogan backing him up is a decent complimentary situation. Decent but not great.....Kevin Hogan has only played in 8 Games with 4TD's and 7 INT's with Clev. Logan Woodside was great in College and Drafted by the Bengals in 2018.....he has not started a game in the NFL yet. That was a good Trip down Quarterback Lane and watch out for Fantasy Drafting next year....Burrows and Chase good combo.
BTW........just an Off Topic Note.......Happy Birthday SCS. Hope you having a great day in California.
So just curious but if they track game winnning drives for quarterbacks why dont they keep track of game winning kicks by kickers? Especially those that come as the game expires.
