Might be the Titans. The jets loss is a real head scratcher but the Bills defense didnt have an answer to topping them oncemthey got rolling and they just held KC to 3 points.

The NFC is better/ahead of the AFC.

Most wins/record of top teams... just think that at the moment, they are a bit better.

    Yup your right Will......

1- Team in the NFC is 7-0
    3- Teams are 6-1

I'm just happy the Titans are tied for Top spot in the AFC @ 5-2.

True but the AFC does have the only division where every team is .500 or better. Also seems to me like the top teams in the afc have had to beat up on each other a little more than the NFC. Could be wrong though going off memory not looking at an actual schedule.

They tend to backload divisional games on the schedule these days, so if AFC teams are beating up on each other its not divisionally.

There are currently only five teams left with 1 or fewer loses (ARI 7-0, LAR 6-1, TB 6-1, GB 6-1 and DAL 5-1). All five of these teams are in the NFC.

I'm assuming you're referring to the AFC North.

Each team plays 6 divisional games per year. That's 24 games per year. So far, the AFC North has played only 4 games total.

Okay not sure what the hang up in divisons is because i did not say anything about beating each other up in divisions. I said top afc teams beating each other up ie buff playing kc and tn, tn playing kc and buff, and so on.

No hang up, you're just talking nonsense as you do from time to time. I guess the Cards & Packers really beat up on each other last night.....

We mentioned divisional games cos they are in conference games which is whats being discussed here. You cited the AFC and divisions in consecutive sentences, really not a big leap for someone to put the two together in a counter-point.

Also, divisional games are where the most heated rivalries are meaning teams "beat up on each other" more emotionally and probably physically most times, so if anything what we are talking about is actually more relevant to the topic than what you are.

But either way, if you only want to make a point about in-conference but non-division games then be more specific next time.

    WOW.

Big congrats to the officials today who single handedly iced the Bengals Jets game.

Guys play for 3hours then the officials pull an outrageous helmet to helmet call out their asses and rob the Bengals of a very probable chance to at least send it to overtime, if not win the game.

The officiating this season has been so so bad.

    AGREE!

After the Browns lost a shit show of a game, we needed the Bengals to lose, but that was one of the worst calls all year.. and there have been a lot of really bad calls.

    Seriously.

And to keep it in your division, that officiating black magic that straight up gifted a win to the Ravens against the Lions a few weeks back, also horrific, but one of just many around the league this year.

The next 9 games are not just b8g for thenchiefs but huge for Eric Bieniemy. The last few years he has been skipped for a HC job and everyone (media) has complqined he should have one. Well if he cant get kc offense going why would you hire him to be the man in charge? Unless he convince you Reid is over ruling him you have to put some of the blame for the KC offensive woes on Bieniemy. He didnt make adjustment during the SB and it looks like he still isnt making adjustments. Defenses have change how they play KC al based on what Tampa did. Erics job is to now make changes to combat that. If he cant do that with Mahomes, Hill and Kelce what hopes does he have to help any other team? Because odds are the jobs that will be open do not have that kind of talent on their roster nor will it be added in the draft.

Doesn’t Andy call the plays during the game?

What about the Chiefs offensive line,... that might be where the problem lies?

That very well could be one of the problems. They did, in fact, make wholescale changes to their O-line this past off season. But, I suspect that's only one of many issues in place.
