Believe me, Buffalo was told by their coach to hold on every play. The coach was right because the refs would only call about one out of every tem egregious holds.

Every offensive line coach teaches and coaches their players to hold. And when they see it not called early in games they will tell them to do it even more.

    Welcome to football.

The Steelers had a gazillion pressures. Might have had an effect on Allen's passing.

On the specific bomb attempt in the first half that should've been a TD he actually had all day on that throw. There was zero pressure.

The Steelers DL had a great game i agree. I always enjoy watching that D play, Heyward is such a monster. But the actual numbers from that game were 3 sacks & 8 QB hits. Thats a lot, but please factor in Allen dropped back almost 60 times in that game. You're making out like he was getting hit on every dropback and the Steelers pass rush was firmly in his head, neither is true. Good QBs take those hits and while they're def sore the next day they also have a W. I heard a lot of MVP talk about Allen this offseason, based on sunday's evidence that's laughable.

But even if you are exaggerating a bit you are at least talking about things the Steelers did well, unlike gideon who just sounds like a whiny bitch.

Hey i get the general notion here. Put on any Bears Packers game from the last 3 years and you'll see, and im gonna be conservative here, 20 times the refs could've thrown flags for holding, just on Mack. I actually think its possible they went into those games with a plan to hold based on the logic that the couple flags they may get will be far less bad than multiple sacks/strip fumbles. A lot of pass rush holds don't get called every week and the better the pass rush the more the team will suffer.

But you didn't see me coming onto the main board to whine about it after every game and those were loses lol! Crying after a win just makes you look like a wimp.

What do the refs do? Keep a bean counter with them and when they count so many holds throw a flag?

Watch the Browns, the Bears or any other team with a premier pass rusher.. It's the NFL, it happens to every team. I complain all the time about Garrett being held on every play. I guess it's in the eyes of the beholder.

They say you could call holding on every play in todays NFL. I think what they (refs) are trying to do is call the blatant/obvious penalties or the infractions that really have a negative effect on what the offense is trying to do.

Obviously, you cant call and they dont call a penalty on every play, thank goodness, but its very early for even refs and I think as the season goes on and they gain more game experience the refs will do a better job just like the players doing all the holding.

Holding is acceptable on every play. It’s the obviously bad holding I’m talking about. Our pass rushers we’re all getting the jerseys pulled off and tackled by the bills oline. Just make holding legal so we can know what to expect.

Lawrence ALMOST timed that FG snap perfectly. He was offside by the pretty much the smallest amount possible. I can't say it's a bad call, especially with how he reacted to stop himself (he was guessing) but I don't think you could argue if it wasn't called.

Crazy game. Two really good televised games now.

Not quite sure how the Giants lost this one. I don't often mention kickers for good reasons but Gano had a huge game, how did the Panthers ever let him go? Really don't get why you call for Heinicke to throw 50 times in a game, especially when you have a good back in Gibson who is running well. 13carries is very under used.

The roughing the passer on Chase was horseshit. Stop trying to ruin the goddam product NFL.
