More details continue to surface regarding the alleged sexual assault accusation made on Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor. Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com reports the accusation stems from a money dispute between Agholor and the female employee from Cheerleaders Gentlemen's Club.

The employee's co-workers aren't the only ones reportedly claiming Agholor is innocent. Multiple reports indicate sources close to Agholor believe he was set up.

In other related news, Crossing Broad reports Fletcher Cox and Connor Barwin were the two Eagles players who visited the club with Agholor.

Rams' Stedman Bailey hopes to play again after shooting

OXNARD, Calif. (AP) ? Stedman Bailey is making a steady recovery after getting shot last year, and he still hopes to be medically cleared to play football again.

Until then, the receiver is focusing his energy on helping the Los Angeles Rams from the sidelines.

Bailey expressed optimism Friday about his football future, whether back in uniform or as a coach.

"I definitely feel like I have a chance to step back on the field and be able to continue playing football," Bailey said at the conclusion of the Rams' second week of voluntary offseason practices.

Bailey was shot twice in the head while sitting in a car with family in November back home in Miami. The Rams have supported the three-year pro throughout his recovery, and they placed him on the reserve non-football injury list this week so he can continue to be around the team this season.

"It's been pretty tough, but I'm still here," Bailey said. "Still could be a whole lot worse for me. I could not be standing here right now. I'm feeling good. I've got my health. I've got my family. My mind is good. Physically, I feel great. I'm just taking it for what it is. Every day I feel better."

That's a LOT of cheddar for a defensive tackle.

i thought Suh got more money, but it's not my money, so i don't care. he's an Eagle for life and a solid player. Nice to see him and Lane Johnson locked in long-term.

He did, but Fletch got more guaranteed.

Not saying it's a bad signing - just that it's a lot for that position.

I think it hurts the Broncos negotiations with Von Miller.

  11. AxeMurderer Legend Cowboys

Yeah, I could see that hindering the Miller deal big time.

Bosa skipping minicamp due to contract dispute

SAN DIEGO (AP) ? A person with knowledge of the situation says San Diego Chargers first-round draft pick Joey Bosa is skipping this week's minicamp after a dispute arose in contract negotiations.

The person says there are issues with the structure of the contract. The person spoke with The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation.

The minicamp opened Tuesday and will run through Thursday.

Bosa, the former Ohio State defensive end, was taken with the third pick overall.

The Chargers will rely on Bosa to bolster their defense as they try to rebound from a 4-12 season in which they went winless against AFC West opponents.

Cowboys RB McFadden breaks elbow, likely out to start camp

IRVING, Texas (AP) ? Dallas running back Darren McFadden fractured his right elbow in an accident at home and will likely be sidelined at the start of training camp.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said the accident happened during Memorial Day weekend, and McFadden returned for voluntary workouts last week. Garrett said the fracture was discovered during a physical before the mandatory minicamp that started Tuesday.

McFadden, who had surgery Tuesday, was fourth in the NFL in rushing last season with 1,089 yards. Garrett said McFadden would be out "at least a couple of months," with the team hoping he'll be ready for the season opener. Training camp starts in late July in California.

An eight-year veteran, McFadden missed the day that was open to reporters during the second week of voluntary workouts after the holiday weekend before returning last week.

"He's a tough guy. That's one of the things we know about McFadden," Garrett said. "He didn't say anything to anybody. At the end of the week he went to our trainers. The X-rays certainly helped us identify what the problem was."

Dallas drafted former Ohio State star Ezekiel Elliott with the fourth overall pick in the draft, and the rookie had been sharing first-team work with last year's leading rusher in McFadden. The Cowboys also signed free agent Alfred Morris, who made the Pro Bowl twice in Washington.

    Follow-up:
Cowboys running backs coach Gary Brown told reporters today that McFadden fell on his elbow while trying to catch his dropped cell phone and keep it from hitting the floor.

Sheesh, how the hell did he manage to play in all 16 games last year?

The Eagles have spent nearly twice as much money as any NFL team in 2016

The theme of the Philadelphia Eagles' offseason has been clear: extend key players before they hit the open market. Monday was the cherry on top of that notion when the Eagles inked Fletcher Cox to a lucrative long-term extension worth a reported $103 million over six years. That's obviously a huge deal, but the guaranteed money is what's staggering.

Cox's $63 million guaranteed is the most of any non-quarterback in NFL history, which opened a few eyes. But coming from the Eagles, it shouldn't be all that surprising. They've gone on a spending spree this offseason that is rivaled by no other team in the NFL. Just take a look at this statistic. They've spent nearly twice as much in guaranteed money as every other team, and it's the most of any franchise in the past five years.

The Eagles have obviously made a concerted effort to retain their veterans, even if it does mean throwing money around left and right. Because that's exactly what they've done. Just in extensions alone, the Eagles spent $191.55 million, according to Spotrac. The next closest team? The Ravens, who dished out just over $50 million in guaranteed money via extensions.

Heck, Philadelphia has even spent nearly six times more on undrafted free agents than any other team. They've signed 18 undrafted players this offseason, totaling $470,750 guaranteed. The team that spent the second-most in that category is Los Angeles, which handed out just $262,000.

Most guaranteed money spent on UDFA's:
    1. Eagles: $470,750
    2. Rams: $262,000
    3. Giants: $203,000
    4. 49ers: $203,000
    5. Patriots: $155,000 (Fox Sports)

Brandon Marshall agrees to 4-year deal with Broncos

While the wait for Von Miller's massive extension drags on, the Denver Broncos locked down another key piece of the defense.

The team announced it agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension with linebacker Brandon Marshall.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Marshall's extension is worth $32 million, with $20 million in guarantees, per a source informed of the deal. The extension, which includes a $10 million signing bonus, keeps Marshall in Denver through 2020. (NFL.com)

    Jones reports to minicamp

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) ? Pro Bowl safety Reshad Jones rejoined the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday without the new contract he seeks, confident he'll get it.

Jones took part in minicamp after missing the first day of the mandatory sessions because of a contract dispute. He had also skipped Miami's earlier organized team activities, which were voluntary.

Why did Jones decide to return?

"I missed my teammates," he said. "I feel confident that the organization and my agent will work something out."

Jones is entering the third season of a $28 million, four-year contract. He could be fined about $25,000 for the minicamp session he skipped.

There had been speculation Jones might sit out the start of training camp next month, but he's said he's back for good. The final minicamp practice under new coach Adam Gase is Thursday.

"Everything's behind me. I'm ready to play football," Jones said. "I missed the game, man. I don't want to bring distraction to my team. I talked to a couple of my teammates, and I wanted to be out here with these guys, working, get everything done."

Kathryn Smith easing into her role as Bills assistant coach

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) ? With Buffalo Bills special teams coordinator Danny Crossman barking orders at the kickoff return players at one end of the practice field, Kathryn Smith stands at midfield overseeing the coverage unit.

Once the players are lined up in their proper positions on each side of her, Smith simulates the ball being kicked off by raising her right arm and yelling, "Go!"

It's a common sight that takes place countless times on NFL practice fields throughout the year, with one key exception: Smith.

She is the Bills special teams quality control coach, who five months ago broke the gender barrier by becoming the league's first full-time female assistant.

"It has started to sink in a bit," Smith said after practice Wednesday in her first session with reporters since being promoted to coach Rex Ryan's staff on Jan. 20. "I recognize the honor in it. But I'm just trying to help the team and be the best coach I can be. So that's really what I'm focused on."

Smith is, perhaps, the NFL's most recognized quality control assistant, which was further evidenced Wednesday when she spoke in front of a bank of about 10 TV cameras ? a media gathering traditionally reserved for when a head coach speaks.

The initial wave of international attention that immediately followed her promotion became, as the soft-spoken and reserved Smith acknowledged, "a bit overwhelming."

The job, however, is not overwhelming for the 31-year-old entering her 14th NFL season.

While making a new Courtyard Hotels commercial concerning Fathers Day, several NFL players' kids were given the chance to say something about their dads. But one person asked Drew Brees' kid what is his favorite NFL team, he replied "Carolina Panthers!" (Say Whaaaaaaat????)
