Maybe it's because many coaches are supposed to be out this year and a search would be tough and competitive. If as many coaches are let go as expected then Dallas could have an easier time getting a guy they want next year. It could also be his 2014 record saving him because Romo is hurt.
Not to mention the fact that no matter who was coaching the Cowboys this year once they lost Dez and Romo it was season over. Sure they got ot hand around because the entire division stunk it up this year but he kind of gets a mulligan for this season.
It could be. A month ago there were rumors that Sean Payton would be leaving New Orleans and end up replacing Garrett. 2014 was a good year, but I hardly think he suddenly got great. The addition of Linehan and Marinelli helped a lot. This year, still with these three, Dallas came from ahead to lose games. Their problems were more than just not having Romo in there.
The last game Romo was in, he wasn't doing so well, then he got hurt again. Dallas would most likely have won more than 4 games but how many more is debatable. I can look at Green Bay and also look at the Saints....10th 4,000-yard season for Brees and they have 6 wins.
Tom Coughlin will resign at the end of the season (per Jay Glazer) http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...sign-not-be-fired-on-monday-ben-mcadoo-010316 Definitely a job that coaches will fall over themselves to get at.
It's one of the more stable franchises in the league and the roster is probably not as empty as some of the coaching vacancies that will be available. At one point in time a former head coach of yours was tabbed to take over for Coughlin. I wonder if Bill will still be interested or if he is truly done with coaching.
Broncos have earned homefield throughout the AFC playoffs. Not even a week ago we were seriously considering them missing the playoffs.
More things change the more they stay the same. 2 years is hardly enough time to do anything. They have had 7 coaches since their return in 99 and 3 different coaches in the last 4 years. Not sure how many GMs but I can bet it's more than needs be. At some point they have to be patient.

with home field on the line, the packers, cardinals and pats blew it. that had to be the ugliest packer game ive seen. i guess these teams don't care about going on the road. well the pats are home. just ugly for the packers and cardinals.
