SC- how the hell does anything Gid said in the past 3 days make him a racist? How did you summarize this? Gid is a solid football poster and his knowledge is top notch. To call him a "racist" on your part is utterly asinine. You're in the minority here on Cam, so are we all wrong here or are you wearing teal blue, white and black colored glasses? *DONT_KNOW*
?? Cam won the title and the Heisman 6 yrs ago! To me, that's his college life and although very accomplished, how many Heisman winners have been bust? A lot of them. To win 1 Super Bowl is a great accomplishment. Winning 2 and that puts you in a company most QBs never see! To compare Cam's college accomplishments with Ben's Pro accomplishments is rather silly and you still lose. Ben's accomplishments are better as his pro career may lead him to Canton, not his college career stats from 15 yrs ago!
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/watch-celebrity-jeopardy-contestants-dont-know-who-cam-newton-is Who is Cam Newton? haha 3 Jeopardy Contestants didn't even know who he is! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA
I'm a fan of sports! why? what difference does it make? so you can bust on players on my teams? my teams have their own problems. im a realist. i see a problem and call them out for it. i see a bigger problem and want to trade their asses in 2 seconds. i have my finger on the trade button 24/7 for all the teams i like. i never liked Cam and never will. his showboating turns me off. He's not Superman, he's Cam Newton, so act like it.
Steelers sign tight end David Johnson to 1-year deal - PITTSBURGH (AP) ? The Pittsburgh Steelers bolstered their tight end depth on Tuesday, signing veteran David Johnson to a one-year deal. The signing is a homecoming for Johnson, taken by the Steelers in the seventh round of the 2009 draft. Johnson spent five years with Pittsburgh before signing with San Diego in 2014. Used primarily as a blocker, Johnson has 24 receptions for 224 yards and a touchdown in his career. The Steelers signed former San Diego tight end Ladarius Green in March and have Jesse James and veteran Matt Spaeth in the fold as well as they move forward without Heath Miller. The two-time Pro Bowler retired in February.
You are starting to irk me and others - you really are coming across IMO as a high school sophomore. Be careful what you wish for if you want to be a smart ass with your comments, and cavalier about who you insult. I have 35 years on Wall St. and am well schooled in the art of smack talk. One reason many of us like L4S is that we like that fact that smack talk is not the primary currency - it's kept to a tolerable limit. Answer Cat's question: What was racist (in your apparent view, a self-evident truth) in the earlier comments? As for me, one who too glibly resorts to casting such aspersions is, ironically, engaging in racism themselves. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt; but would like to have you explain just what the fuck you think gives you the right to appear like such a douche.
LMAO... am I reading this right? SoCo accuses Gidion of being a racist. Gidion reveals he's actually white and married to an African American. SoCo dismisses that and compares it to Trump saying he has black friends. Are you serious SoCo? Am I reading this right?
If someone literally hates Cam Newton because he has fun at his job and makes kids happy there is no other reason to explain it.
Trump supposedly hates Foreigners coming into the country but he married one, was going more along those lines. It was just a joke that went over some heads.... Plus, this is the internet. How am I even supposed to know that's the truth?
Excuse me, but I am sure that you are the only one so superficial as to not see any other possible explanation for why some may not like Cam's antics. I dunno but maybe it's because some people do not like others acting like jerks. (That - "jerk" - is a subjective evaluation that no one is in a position to challenge.) In fact, calling their motivation "racist" is actually using a self-evident fact, (his skin color), as a justification for a judgment. I see something obvious and it forms my opinions on everything going forward. That is the very scourge of racism put into practice. Stop being a racist!
Full disclosure, I am a Republican, but I am by no means a Trump supporter. That said, your comment is quite misconstrued. Donald Trump does not agree with illegal aliens being allowed to stay in the country under most circumstances. He is also very much in support of doing what ever it takes to curtail the future allowance of illegals to cross our borders. But in no sense of rationality does he come across as hating foreigners, whether in their homeland or coming into the country..he didn't marry a foreigner, he married two of them. 2 of his 3 wives are from foreign nationalities. It didn't go over anyone's head by the way, it just made absolutely no sense in any matter towards any of the conversations that have taken place. Even after your half ass attempt to explain doesn't make it any more prudent to the conversation.
Sam Bradford explains 2-week hiatus: 'I just felt like I needed some time' Sam Bradford said that he needed some time to clear his head during his two-week break from the Eagles after Philadelphia traded up to nab North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz in 2016 NFL Draft. "When I found out about the trade, I was frustrated," Bradford told reporters Tuesday in his first public comments since the dustup. After the draft, Bradford quickly demanded a trade and said he wouldn't participate in any team activities. He returned to the team less than two weeks later. "I just felt like I needed some time," Bradford continued. "I could have stayed here, could have continued to work here, but I'm not sure my head really would have been here those two weeks." Bradford went on to explain that when he signed his two-year, $36 million extension earlier in the offseason he had hoped it would come with job security. "Philadelphia is the place I wanted to be. I wanted to play well for the next two years, create that stability, and then sign a longer-term deal and stay here for the rest of my career," Bradford said. (FOXSPORTS)
