There you go, talking very stupid again. My post about THE SAINTS didn't even mention you.

You are everything you accuse me of and more.

Then what did you do it for?

This is my last response to you. I don't want to glorify your ignorance any further.

There's 0% chance that this comment....

Wasn't about me. You proved it when you later referenced the conversation that comment pertained to.

And now, in your usual fashion, you want to pretend something else.

This is why no one respects you. You're a coward and a child.

Game Preview: Rams seeking fourth straight win over NFC West foe Seahawks...

The Rams (3-1) travel to Seattle Thursday night to face the Seahawks (3-1) in the first divisional matchup of the 2019 season for Los Angeles. Kickoff from CenturyLink Field is set for 5:20 p.m. pacific time.

L.A. has won seven of the last 10 meetings between the two teams, including each of the last three. During that three-game win streak, the Rams' offense has averaged 37 points per contest.

    Five players to watch

    • Rams RT Rob Havenstein: Seahawks DE Jadeveon Clowney will present a tremendous challenge for the right side of Los Angeles' offensive line, which means Havenstein will play an instrumental role in keeping the pressure off of QB Jared Goff.
    • Rams CB Aqib Talib: He'll likely draw Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett as his assignment. Lockett has been one of the most dependable receivers in the NFL this season, catching 81.2 percent of passes thrown his way this season – second among all wide receivers behind Michael Gallup's 86.67, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.
    • Seahawks RB Chris Carson: Coming off the best performance of the season, he's the focal point of a Seattle rushing attack averaging 111.5 yards per game.
    • Seahawks TE Will Dissly: He's also been a reliable target in the Seahawks passing game, 86.36 percent of passes thrown his way per Next Gen Stats. That ranks fourth among all players, regardless of position.
    • Rams S Eric Weddle: Similar to last week, L.A.'s defense will face a quarterback who has a knack for executing off-schedule plays with a pair of wide receivers who are big plays waiting to happen. Communication will be key, and that starts with the Rams' primary defensive signal caller.

Mike Nugent to be the next Patriots kicker

Mike Nugent has never won a playoff game. Playing for a bunch of bad teams will do that for a man.

He should have a chance to change that.

Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the veteran kicker has won the right to replace the injured Stephen Gostkowski, after they brought in a number of kickers for tryouts.

The 37-year-old Nugent has lost all five playoff games he’s ever been a part of.

Of course, he spent most of his career with the Bengals (0-4) and Jets (0-1), so it’s hard to say it’s his fault. He never kicked in the postseason during his time with the Cardinals, Buccaneers, Bears, Cowboys, or Raiders.

For his career, he’s 81.4 percent on field goals (253-311), but he hit all six of his attempts for the Raiders last year.

What might be amazing with the Patriots having a crappie kicker is watching them miss a game winning FG and lose the game.

Not trying to beat you up here BFRLA. But I'm not giving Bridgewater much credit for those wins. It's the rest of the Saints offence that's winning these games. I watched Teddy play two pre season games. He was awful. I turned it off. But, remember, he was playing with the back ups. Now he's running with the big dogs. Their making him look good.

Good to see you SoCal! In no way was I implying Bridgewater is a great quarterback, but I was surprisingly impressed with his performance at Seattle. Yes, it was mostly the supporting cast offense players racking up the points, and an opportunistic defense. Against Dallas he didn't score but he didn't make stupid mistakes either (well there was one play he ran backward and sacked out of FG Range that I was mad at). Both those games thrilled me, but I really miss Brees and anxious for his return. Teddy wasn't my choice for backup either but as long as the Saints are winning I have no complaint. Good luck in the Pick'em contest! Cheers!

Clay Matthews out a month with broken jaw...

Rams linebacker Clay Matthews will miss a month after breaking his jaw Thursday night.

Rams coach Sean McVay announced Friday afternoon, via Lindsey Thiry of ESPN, that Matthews will undergo surgery.

McVay said the team believes Seahawks running back Chris Carson inadvertently kicked Matthews in the face.

It appears on video the injury occurred on Carson’s 6-yard run on third-and-goal from the 11-yard line in the fourth quarter when Matthews dove at Carson’s legs.

Matthews played 47 of 74 defensive snaps and made five tackles and a sack.

Denzel Ward, Greedy Williams questionable for Monday night...

The Browns could be getting their starting cornerbacks back for Monday Night Football.

Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams are both questionable for the game against the 49ers with hamstring injuries. They’re listed as questionable even though they haven’t practiced on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

Both have missed each of the last two games. Given that the Browns play at San Francisco, more light could be shed on the situation on Sunday, when the road team travels to California.

Also questionable for the Week Five game are safety Morgan Burnett (quadricep), receiver Rashard Higgins (knee), tackle Christopher Hubbard (foot), and safety Sheldrick Redwine (hamstring). Tackle Kendall Lamm is out with a knee injury.

Not listed on the injury report is receiver Jarvis Landry, who has exited the concussion protocol and who necessarily has been cleared to play.

A few games today are expected to be lopsided. May be an upset or two, too. I don't know which way the Tampa game will go.
