unsettled business like what? i haven't spoken to you since 2013 when I left NGS on the recommendation from Red Hessian bc the wars with rc, fly flyers, the pitt guy and tarkus were out of control. The statute of limitations has passed and so has any beef with me. We had our battles bf and somehow you held a virtual invisible courtroom and i was on freaking trial on ngs. Those days are over your Honor. I can't stop you from posting on here, but please don't follow me around like you have been for the past 20 min.
axe-don't play into what he says. that makes it worse. and no im not a freaking chicken. come on axe.
a few surprises last night - shocked jack is still undraft. tunsil slipped to #13. bosa went 3rd to SD and the Broncos with probably the best move overall traded up for Paxton Lynch. Great move to address the QB hole!!!
Would kill to have Dallas draft Jack in Round 2. Dallas also apparently tried to trade back into Round 1 to grab Lynch, but Denver beat them to the punch.
Sounds like Dallas has concerns: http://dal.247sports.com/Bolt/Report-Cowboys-place-UCLA-LB-Myles-Jack-on-sub-board-45002235 Question is: when does the reward outweigh the risk?
Judge allows suit over 2014 Super Bowl tickets to be refiled NEWARK, N.J. (AP) ? A lawsuit against the NFL over the number of tickets sold to the public for the 2014 Super Bowl is going forward. Josh Finkelman's lawsuit seeks class-action status and alleges the league violated New Jersey consumer protection laws when it made only about 1 percent of tickets to the game at MetLife Stadium available to the public. The New Brunswick man says he spent about $2,000 per ticket instead of the $800 face value. The NFL released about 900 tickets by lottery. A judge dismissed the case last year but ruled last week the complaint could be refiled. The new complaint was filed this week. Attorney Greg Kohn says he can demonstrate the NFL's policies forced fans to pay inflated prices on the secondary market. The NFL didn't comment Friday.
Jeff Fisher: Goal is for Jared Goff start opening night Will Jared Goff be the opening day starter for the Los Angeles Rams? "He may start on Monday night," Fisher said of the Rams' Monday Night Football opener against the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, California. "That's the goal. We understand the environment, believe me. He does. We've had lengthy conversations. If I had concerns about whether Jared could handle this, I wouldn't be talking about Jared right now. He can handle it." It might seem like an obvious question. The Rams gave up a small fortune to move from No. 15 to the top of the draft for a player they've deemed their missing piece both privately and publicly. However, with the Eagles already planning to sit Carson Wentz for a season behind Sam Bradford and the Rams tendering Case Keenum at the first-round level, there could have been an argument made for easing Goff into the rotation a little bit like the Jaguars did with Blake Bortles.
Ohio State sets record with 10 picks in draft's first three rounds CHICAGO -- Ohio State broke a record with 10 players selected in the first three rounds of the NFL draft Friday. After five Buckeyes were chosen in the first round Thursday, five more went on Day 2 in Rounds 2-3: defensive lineman Adolphus Washington, wide receivers Michael Thomas and Braxton Miller, safety Vonn Bell and tight end Nick Vannett. The previous record (8) was held by Tennessee from the 2000 draft. The pick of Miller was the record breaker; he went to the Houston Texans with the No. 85 overall choice. With a record 14 players invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, Ohio State's presence in the 2016 draft figured to challenge for the most players drafted from one school since the Buckeyes themselves placed 14 players in the 2004 draft. The record for the most players from one school taken in a single draft is held by Texas (17, 1984 draft).
Bears agree to 1-year deal with former Texans QB Hoyer LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) ? The Chicago Bears have agreed to a one-year contract with former Houston Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer, giving them a veteran backup to Jay Cutler. Hoyer was released nearly two weeks ago ? a little more than a month after Houston signed Brock Osweiler to a four-year, $72 million contract. Hoyer signed a two-year contract before last season. He had 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions before committing five turnovers in a playoff loss to Kansas City. A seven-year veteran, Hoyer threw for a career-high 3,326 yards with Cleveland in 2014, when Bears offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains was his quarterbacks coach. General manager Ryan Pace says the deal announced Saturday had been in the works. He calls Hoyer a "very intelligent player."
Vikings decline 5th-year option on WR Cordarrelle Patterson MINNEAPOLIS (AP) ? The Minnesota Vikings have spent about a year sending gifted but flighty receiver and kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson messages that he needs to buckle down and come to training camp prepared to earn a spot. They sent their loudest message yet on Monday. The Vikings declined to pick up the fifth-year option on Patterson's rookie contract, casting his future with the team into doubt. On the same day the Vikings exercised the options for defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd and cornerback Xavier Rhodes ? the other two members of the Vikings first-round class in 2013 ? the team preferred not to commit to the $7.9 million Patterson would have been due in 2017. The Vikings also signed sixth-round draft choice Moritz Boehringer to his rookie deal, making him the first pick of the 2016 class to sign a contract. The team also announced the signing of 10 undrafted free agents, including two area prospects: Minnesota defensive end Theiren Cockran and Wisconsin quarterback Joel Stave. Patterson was an All-Pro kick returner as a rookie and has continued to be a threat in that spot in his first three seasons in the league. But his development as a receiver has been much slower to come. He only caught two passes last season and was used as a decoy or blocker in the few offensive snaps he did get. The 22-year-old Boehringer is from Germany, making him the first player in league history to be drafted straight from Europe. Cockran had 15? sacks in his career for the Gophers.
Harrison plans to play in 2016, Steelers re-sign Gradkowski PITTSBURGH (AP) ? Looks like there's still a little fuel left James Harrison's tank after all. The five-time Pro Bowl linebacker announced on his verified Instagram Monday that he plans on returning to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2016. Harrison posted a picture of his familiar No. 92 jersey emerging from a smoke-filled tunnel with a caption that read: "I'm back." "I'll be 38 on Wednesday and I'm feeling just like a fine wine. Getting better with age," Harrison wrote. Harrison finished with five sacks in 2015, but said after Pittsburgh's loss to Denver in the playoffs that he needed time to figure out if he wanted to come back for a 14th season. Harrison has one year left on his contract. As he typically does, Harrison has spent much of the offseason working out in Arizona. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said over the weekend the team anticipated having Harrison in the fold. Pittsburgh initially planned on limiting Harrison's snaps last fall, but he proved so effective he was typically among the leaders among the linebackers in snaps played. The Steelers added depth at linebacker during the offseason, picking up inside linebacker Steve Johnson from Denver in free agency, and drafting outside linebacker Travis Feeney from Washington in the sixth round and inside linebacker Tyler Matakevich from Temple in the seventh. Harrison worked as part of a rotation with Jarvis Jones, Bud Dupree and Arthur Moats last season and at times showed flashes of the brilliance that made him one of the NFL's best players during his prime. Harrison isn't the only player back for more. The team announced Monday it re-signed veteran backup quarterback Gradkowski to a one-year deal. Gradkowski missed all 2015 after injuring his right hand during the preseason, leading the Steelers to bring in Mike Vick. Pittsburgh made no attempt to bring back Vick and instead will have Gradkowski battle Landry Jones for the No. 2 spot behind Ben Roethlisberger. Jones played erratically while filling in last season while Roethlisberger nursed various injuries.
After strides at Michigan, Rudock gets NFL shot with Lions ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) ? After his first game at Michigan last season, it was hard to tell if Jake Rudock would even make it through the year as the starting quarterback, much less play his way into an NFL opportunity. A lot changed during his brief stint with the Wolverines. Rudock was drafted in the sixth round Saturday by the Detroit Lions, an impressive accomplishment for a player who took a while to win over Michigan fans but ended up making significant strides under coach Jim Harbaugh. The Lions hadn't drafted a quarterback since taking Matthew Stafford No. 1 overall in 2009. "When I sat down with Jake I really saw a passionate football guy that is very smart, very attentive," Lions general manager Bob Quinn said. "I really think the bottom line is, when we worked him out I really came away impressed about how he threw the ball." Rudock transferred from Iowa to Michigan for his final college season, but amid all the excitement about Harbaugh's arrival last year, the Wolverines lost their opener at Utah, with Rudock throwing three interceptions. Although Michigan won five straight games after that, much of the credit went to the defense. By the time the season ended, however, Rudock had completed 64 percent of his passes, for 3,017 yards with 20 touchdowns and nine interceptions. In his final college game, he threw three TD passes in Michigan's 41-7 rout of Florida in the Citrus Bowl.
