  15. Torgo M.V.P. Manager Falcons

It's time for a little panic to set in for Atlanta. The Falcons have dropped two straight games that they should have won, and they're simply playing horribly. That shouldn't happen with the amount of talent on this roster, particularly on the offense.

No one is seriously talking about Dan Quinn being on the hot seat yet, but that kind of talk might start after this latest loss.

Raiders linebacker Vontaze Burfict is looking at another suspension for illegal on-field hits and it will reportedly be a lengthy one.

Chris Mortenson of ESPN reports that Burfict is facing a season-long ban in response to Sunday’s conduct. Burfict was ejected from the Raiders’ win over the Colts for lowering his head and delivering a helmet-to-helmet blow to Colts tight end Jack Doyle.

Raiders head coach Jon Gruden said after the game that the ejection was “a tough decision,” but the call to suspend Burfict probably won’t be a difficult one. He’s served two other multi-game suspensions for on-field infractions and has been fined regularly — over $165,000 last season — for delivering illegal hits during games.

Burfict, who is a Raiders captain, has 18 tackles in four games this season. He is only under contract for the 2019 season.

Little has gone right for the Broncos through the first four weeks of the regular season and they got another piece of bad news on Monday.

Linebacker Bradley Chubb left Sunday’s loss to the Jaguars for a brief period after being injured, but was able to return before the game is over. That’s pretty remarkable given Monday’s news about his condition.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Chubb has been diagnosed with a torn ACL. The 2018 first-round pick will miss the rest of the season as a result.

The hiring of head coach Vic Fangio was largely seen as a positive for Chubb and the rest of the Broncos defense, but they failed to record a sack or takeaway through the first three weeks of the season. Chubb got one of the team’s five sacks on Sunday, although breaking through on that front wasn’t enough to keep the Jaguars from coming back from a 17-3 deficit to win the game.

Rookies Malik Reed and Justin Hollins are options to play across from Von Miller at outside linebacker as the Broncos try to find their way to a win.
