Next 3 are vs Patriots, @ Cowboys, vs Chargers. Let's extend that to 5 games so it includes vs Redskins and @ Bills. Both those games come after their week 5 bye too.
Browns ban the wrong guy from their stadium indefinitely and when he gets defensive about it the Browns exec tells him "You don't have to get defensive if you're innocent.". Browns management gonna Brown no matter what.
https://www.clevescene.com/scene-an...ng-beer-on-titans-player-ban-him-from-stadium Now if you are offended at me saying Browns are gonna Brown.... meh okay. But at least it's a shot back after Catfish got all upset earlier.
Browns defensive end Myles Garrett got a 15-yard penalty and easily could have been ejected on Sunday when he gave an open-handed smack to Titans tight end Delanie Walker‘s face. He says he won’t do it again. Garrett said he lost his composure with Walker but will be more careful in the future. “Yeah, usually I don’t let things like that get to me and I won’t let it happen again,’’ he told cleveland.com. “I’ll appeal if I get fined. Of course I at least have to try.’’ The Browns’ ugly Week One performance saw them penalized 18 times for 182 yards, the most in any NFL game in three years. Garrett isn’t the only one who needs to clean up his act. (PFT)
bc other sports fans are as bad as Eagles fans, but Philly gets all the blame as the worst fans in all of sports!
again-how can you keep someone from attending the game? i get a season ticket barcode could come up as invalid so you don't let him in. lets say he bought it from stubhub or a friend gave him he ticket. there's no way to tell he entered the stadium. will the stadium really have his face at every gate to check every male to see if it was him? the lines would be insanely long for 8 home games a year if that were true.
Different states, leagues and teams have varying policies, but typically speaking, a violator facing a stadium ban is forced to sign paperwork before leaving the building agreeing to their own prohibition. In addition, any future tickets purchased by that fan are voided, and should that person return while the ban is still in place, he or she would be subject to arrest for criminal trespass. “(Looking out for) ejected fans is a priority,” said Dan Donovan, vice president of security and technology consulting for Guidepost Solutions. “But those guards’ biggest priority is that the screening process is being done correctly and that we don’t have prohibited items coming into the facility.” To help catch banned spectators, ballparks, stadiums and arenas will often distribute images of banned fans to security staff. But while employees remain mindful of blacklisted fans attempting to attend a game undetected, those faces can be tough to spot among the thousands who flood the building’s gates. Its not fool-proof, Cat... but measures are being taken. In Toledo, I have to show ID to purchase tickets at Hens and Walleye games, this also creates a data base of sorts for investigation later if needed. But if you get a free ticket from someone there isn't much security can do right now, but there is testing on some bio-metric face recognition being put in to place if necessary. Its costly, but will deter unwanted fans from entering stadiums. If caught you face criminal charges and jail time... that usually makes a repeat offender think twice, but not in all cases.
but if he buys them from someone else who isn't banned or from stubhub, it's impossible to track those tickets.
Facial recognition software its not just for ncis Im jesting and yes he can buy tickets elsewhere and "sneak" into a game but if he does as said above he will be arrested for criminal trespass if he is caught. Its a risk reward type thing. How does he et caught you ask? Well for one if someone from staff recognizes him there is that slim chances maybe but still a chance. Also most fans getting a lifetime ban are idiots. They dont suddenly become smarter after the ban so odds are they will do something stupid to draw attention to them and thus be caught again.
No, it's not. Hell, you can buy a cell phone today that uses facial recognition instead of a password. It's accurate, it's fast and it's relatively cheap to a multi-billion dollar business interested in protecting it's brand.
but to install it at every gate at the stadium to look for 1 guy? that seems like a lot to ask. i don't know. if i was a big enough fan, could i really stay away ? since i left south philly, where i could walk to Eagles games, i have no interest in going to a game live anymore. it's not the alcohol aspect anymore. i just rather use my own clean bathroom, eat my own cheaper food and watch the game on my 55 inch tv. The Linc is crazy. it's chaotic for 4 yrs. im 47 and i don't need to deal with the parking, the fans, the long lines and everything else anymore. i rather be at home. if i was banned, maybe think about why i was banned and change my ways. i dunno.
