LeSean McCoy won't be charged over Philadelphia club brawl Jaguars claim Tanner Hawkinson off waivers from Eagles The Patriots have signed veteran defensive tackle Terrance Knighton and tight end Clay Harbor. Jaguars claim Tanner Hawkinson off waivers from Eagles Bills sign linebacker Zach Brown to 1-year contract
Eagles sign C Stefen Wisniewski to a 1 year deal. Will be the backup Center after David Molk retired and will try out to be the starting left guard which is the only spot on the line with an open competition.
The video looked bad for Shady; not sure why there were no charges at all. Generally, the longer things get dragged out, the easier things end up for an alleged culprit. Still, the NFL abides by its own rules & guidelines, and I expect McCoy will be given a suspension. Two to four games is my guess.

The NFL knows by adding just a couple more teams into the Playoff mix, they will create more meaningful and exciting games down the stretch and also generate tons more revenue during the Playoffs. I think it's a good idea, I love it as a matter of fact. Seems to be working out fine in the MLB and the NHL. They want a piece of the action too.
Gotta disagree with Will on this. I think it's ludicrous to have so many teams in the playoffs. It may create "meaningful" games, but it will be meaningful games among mediocre teams. The playoffs are supposed to be a reward for the best teams in the league, not for teams that barely finish with a winning record. And what - the NFL isn't already generating a ton of revenue...???
There would be teams in the playoffs with losing records also. It's silly and completely stupid. There'll be no reward for the better teams......
You make excellent points... that i cant really disagree with. The weaker teams that make it should be eliminated, but sometimes a team gets healthy and on a roll at the right time. The way the system is set up now, you still have the mediocre teams in the Playoffs... I guess it wouldnt matter to add a couple more, lol. I guess the only thing it has going for it (the addition of teams) would be the fan base of the 8-8's getting a shot at the big show. I'll have to re-think this some.
Why does there have to be? I say we stopped keeping score. Award everyone a trophy and a banner. The Colts are ahead of their time.
Potroast is an exciting pick up. This Patriots d-line is going to be dangerous if Easley and Brown take the next step.
I lean the opposite way - I'm in favor of scaling back on the number of playoff teams we have. 5 per conference (for me) is plenty.
There ya go! 14-game regular season, then EVERYONE makes the "tournament," ranked 1 to 32. #1 plays #32, #2 plays #31, etc. Do it just like March Madness. You have the thrill of potential upsets, everyone makes it to the playoffs, the NFL has the more protracted playoffs that it craves...
It'd be worthless, as the regular season would be rendered utterly meaningless. You'd essentially have a 14-game preseason and a 5 game post-season.
