And I think THAT'S going to be the Chiefs downfall. I've watched them play 3-4 times this year. And they just don't look like a championship defense.
Now,,,,, last years Rams ?? That looked like the defense from hell. But your right. Not this year. We all saw how the Saints mopped the floor with this group.
The Rams will be at home against the Bears. But the crowd noise will not be that big a factor due to the way the coloseum is configured. The sound tends to go up and out. Not down to the field. All the noise does there is scare the seagulls away.
I think the Bears defense will give the Rams offense fits, but the Rams offense, I think, can score enough to win if it comes down to it.
Wasn't this game just played? So weren't these questions just answered? I know that things can drastically change from game to game, but if we're speculating, we have something we rarely do in football - recent and contextual examples.
In Chicago. Rams will be different in LA, in my opinion. That's speculation on my part and that's all... we will see when they play the game.
In my opinion, the Rams defense is not that good and all the Bears did at home was put up 15... it will be different in LA if it comes down to it.
Martavis Bryant suspended indefinitely by NFL... Raiders wide receiver Martavis Bryant‘s season ended earlier this month when the team placed him on injured reserve with a knee injury and it is unclear when he will be making his next appearance. There were reports in September that Bryant was facing a suspension for another violation of the league’s substance abuse policy, but nothing official came from the league until Friday. In a statement, the league announced that Bryant has been suspended. “Effective immediately, Martavis Bryant has been returned to the Reserve/Commissioner Suspended list indefinitely for violating the terms of his April 2017 conditional reinstatement under the Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.”(PFT) Bryant was suspended for four games in 2015 and he was suspended for the entire 2016 season for other violations of the policy. Bryant is not under contract for the 2019 season, so no one will hold his rights when and if he is reinstated from his latest ban.
Prior to his year long suspension, no he was not overrated. After his reinstatement he became very overrated, but at least the Steelers got a 3rd round pick for him. That deal looks better everyday! Much better than the 5th round pick they got for SB MVP Santonio Holmes when they shipped him out...
I just always felt that even before these issues that he was over performing some and the situation may have been helping him. There was always talk about more potential that he was showing but I thought he reached it and it wasn't sustainable for him. It's not a popular opinion I know.
