Lets eliminate the improbable ones to win a division title;

• C.J. Beathard (SF)
• Jameis Winston (TB)
• Sam Darnold (NYJ)
• Baker Mayfield (CLE) <--- Playoff spot, maybe. Division title - No.
• Josh Rosen (ARI)
• Derek Carr (OAK)
• Dak Prescot (DAL) <--- Playoff spot, maybe. Division title - No.
• Deshaun Watson (Hou) <--- Playoff spot, maybe. Division title - No.

Add these nine to the five already listed and there's your fourteen. Even if Prescot and Watson somehow win their respective divisions, they would knock two of the five out of the division title (Wentz and Mariota).

 

That's rough...I wanna take the over but I see it as either an under or a push right now.

Bears still need to prove it....I have GB winning the division still...Bears offense hasn't proven itself to be sustainable.

I have zero doubt the Patriots win their division. I like the Ravens in the North or the Steelers to make a strong comeback and win it in the end. Titans/Jags plus the Chiefs are probably gonna cruise. So that's either 2 or 1.5?

But you have the Eagles, Rams, and Saints in the NFC...that bumps us to a 4 or a 3.5.

 

I may be a Bears fan but I live in NY as well and follow both NY teams as I am a big fan of the game. How about coming back with some football talk instead of getting your panties in a bunch over being called scorned. And let me tell you your reply only supports that claim. I could really give a flying bleep what Aikman has to say I was replying to your comments. You keep saying the Rams. Why? Let me ask you a simple question. Did the Giants look like they would rather be doing anything other than playing football when they lost to a last second 63 yard FG last week to the Panthers?

 

^^^TDs entire paragraph was about football. The thin-skinned bears fan just didn't like being called "bigshot", but even that sentence had a football reference in it.^^^

Before you offer a rebuttal about the thin-skinned thing, you guys do EXCLUDE certain (most) L4SN members from a SPECIFIC thread, which is VERY UNIQUE to this site. No other group on these boards has that privilege... nor has any OTHER group of posters asked for their VERY OWN BUBBLE (safe space). Something something stones something something glass houses. Shurmur sucks (now and historically) and he's a bigger problem for the Giants than Eli is.

 

WTH are you talking about? You started it bigboy...Is Aikman a scorned Browns fan too? Just curious....All Troy did was point out everything I warned about a Pat Shurmur led team. Deal with it.

Maybe you should take a look at your local paper and see what they are saying about your "lil Giants"...lol. But honestly, if you wanna be a member of the Pat Shurmur fan club, wth do I care? Probably best too temper expectations on the numbers though...

When we hired Shurmur, plenty of Rams fans stopped by to tell us how horrible of an OC he was, and how miserable it will be watching this team play. They warned us to expect a seriously lethargic team, that will show no enthusiasm whatsoever and an overall lack of effort. ....Basically, they said everything Aikman was saying last night. "Lifeless losing football"... And they were 100% correct. It's as simple as that. If you wanna stay in denial about what you witnessed last night, that's up to you....As soon as Big Blue hired Pat, I warned all the NYG fans that I know, that they should expect misery....Truth.

I'm just making sure that everyone that is chiming in on the goings on of how things get handled here has a clear understanding of why things are handled the way they are.

Things around here really aren't that complicated and I give people a lot of opportunities to get things straight with the other members here. If someone loses their privileges from a certain area of these forums it's because they earned it, plain and simple.

Started what? I am sorry if you don’t have any real reason to think Shurmur sucks other then the fact that he didn’t do so well when he was the HC for your favorite team and Troy Aikman said the team looked bad last night.

Just because I’m not buying your opinion of Shurmur as a coach because of the reasons I have already given and you have yet to even attempt to refute. Doesn’t make me a fan of the guy. It just shows how uninformed you are when it comes to him outside of your little Browns bubble.

All TopDawg said was that he saw the same team tendencies in the Giants with Shurmur as their Head Coach as we saw with the Browns when he was our Head Coach.

Yes, he may have gotten a little carried away calling Shurmur the worst Head Coach ever. Which, BTW, surprised me. He normally reserves that for Hue Jackson.

Good luck to the Bears this year. I got their defense and Burton in my main fantasy league, so I'm invested...I like watching them play, as one of the few true Trubisky supporters. Watched him play in high school. I wanted Browns to take him...

FTR: I'm Glad we didn't, since we ended up with Baker Mayfield.

 

The defense is legit and hopefully stays healthy.

The offense has potential.

 

I'd say the same about the Browns, but it would be too critical of the offense. Mayfield is just getting started and that kid is WAY ahead of the curve. It's been a long wait, but the future couldn't be any brighter for the Cleveland Browns. They finally hit on a QB, and they hit big....
